BU6

Southdown Flyers enjoyed two victories in the BU6 division. Jack Steinberg scored a hat trick in the 5-1 win over the Future Stars before Michael Tucker hit a hat trick in the 6-0 win over HBC Germany.

The Future Stars recovered to beat HBC Holland 2-0, Roman Martin and Leela Drakowski both scoring.

The Green Machine and Germany then played out an even game with both teams unable to take the chances that came their way, 0-0 the final score.

Kings Park maintained their 100% record beating Holland 4-2 then Green Machine 5-1. Matthew Donnis was in fine form again with a hat trick against Holland then all five goals against Green Machine, Matthew currently sits at the top of the Golden Boot table with 21 goals.

BU7

Rangers collected the points with a 4-0 win over the HBC Crushers but then went down 1-0 to Elwood. Thomas Carluccio scored the only goal of the game for Elwood who also had Luca Palisciano to thank in goal for some important saves throughout.

The Annoying Oranges and HBC Crushers played an entertaining game with the Oranges scoring the winner with only ten seconds left on the clock. Two goals by Caden Veitch helped the Crushers take the lead but Jhordan Morada replied with two goals and Alex Morada struck the winner with almost the last kick of the game.

Jeffrey Flores and Lennon Harrington both scored twice as Celtic beat the Oranges 5-1. Celtic followed that with a 5-2 win over the HBC Cruisers to stay clear at the top of the table, Lennon Harrington scored three of the Celtic goals. Callan Steel and Christopher Prainito were on target for the Cruisers who also tied 0-0 with Elwood.

BU10

HBC Ambush had a god day with their two victories taking them level on points with Chelsea at the top of the table. Henry Vohs and Liam Lennon scored in the 3-1 win over the HBC Wildcats before Charlie Blitz, Ryan Porcio and Liam McDonald found the net in the 3-2 win over Arsenal.

Chelsea and the Wildcats drew 0-0 in a game with plenty of goalmouth action. Chelsea then held on to win 2-1 over the HBC Chargers to stay level at the top.

Ryan Cash scored twice for Northport Thunder but two goals by Dylan Gugin helped Arsenal on their way to a 4-2 victory.

John Oualaalou was also on target twice for the Thunder in their 4-0 win over HBC Wolves. Wolves recovered to pick up the points in a 2-0 win over Team Poland, Sean Manoff and Jace Novitz scored the goals.

HBC Spurs had a good week with two victories. Logan Weisemthall scored twice in the 4-1 win over the HBC Chargers then Luke Roberts hit a hat trick in the 6-0 victory over Poland.

BU12/13

Chris Roberts scored two early goals for the SH Saints in their game with the SH Sharpshooters but the Sharpshooters hit back with two goals of their own before half time, Vinnie Santoiemma and Jonathan Solar’s bringing them level. The comeback was complete in the second half when Chris O’Connor struck the winner for the Sharpshooters, 3-2 the final score.

Kazuki Yoshihashi and Jason Hernandez each scored two goals as the Uniondale Vikingos beat the Sharpshooters 5-1. The Vikingos maintained their perfect record with a tight 1-0 victory over the HBC Outlaws, Allan Calderon scored the only goal of the game.

Austin O’Reagan’s two goals secured a share of the points for Levittown Inferno as they tied 2-2 with the SH Saints but they were beaten in the final game of the day as the Outlaws defeated them 4-0, two goals each for Partick Ahearne and Anthony Restivo the difference.

GU12/13

The Tiger Lily’s had their best week of the season so far with a win and a tie during week 5. Elizabeth Starin was on target twice for Northport Spirit but goals by Ellen Maguire and Ava Maiella meant their game ended all square at 2-2. The Lily’s then won their first game of the season beating the Northport Dolphins 2-0, Ellen Maguire and Adelaide Kline with the goals.

Elizabeth Starin went one better in the Spirit’s next game and scored a hat trick as they handed CSH Crushers their first loss of the season, 4-1 the final score.

The Crushers came back to win their second game 3-0 over the HBC Shooting Stars, Sarah Concannon was on target twice.

Annie Gruhn was another player to score twice as the Northport Dolphins recorded a 5-2 victory over the Blue Devils before the Shooting Stars beat the Blue Devils 3-2 in the final game of the day, thanks in part to Christine Maceluch’s two strikes.

BU14/15

Golden Boot leaders Luke Luckow and Eren Aydin each scored twice as the HBC Sting beat the CSH Falcons 5-2 in the opening BU14/15 game of the day.

The Falcons then defeated the Tornados 2-1 thanks to goals by James Cosmai and Charles Willis.

The Sting saw off a fight back from the Northport Warriors to win 4-2 to stay clear at the top of the league before the Warriors lost the final game of the day 1-0 to the Tornados. In a close game that looked to heading for a 0-0 draw Chris Callun hit the winner with only seconds remaining to give the Tornados Victory
