Week 8 – Review Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 9
Northport Juventus 5-1 Northport Gunners
The two Northport teams, Juventus and Gunners, got the play offs started and it was the first placed Juventus who went through to the final. Reyhan Zaffer and Joey Smith each scored twice in the 5-1 win.
Hbc Rangers 0-3 Hbc Juventus
The two Hbc teams then played the second semi final and first half goals by Henry Sweeney and Jack Radigan gave Juventus a 2-0 half time lead over Rangers. Brendan O’Connor added one after the break as Juventus made it to the final winning 3-0.
The third place play off game saw Rangers take the lead through Jack Hochheiser’s first half goal but Rory Banks leveled soon after for the Gunners and after a scoreless second half the game went to overtime. It was still deadlocked after the extra five minute period so it went to penalty kicks. The Gunners held their nerve and scored all three kicks to win the game and take the 3rd place medals.
Northport Juventus 2-0 Hbc Juventus
The two Juventus teams met in the final and it was Northport who struck first when Reyhan Zaffer’s deflected shot found the net. Hbc battled but couldn’t hit the target and Ty Hanada’s secnd half strike wrapped it up for Northport.
The consolation games saw Port United and Hbc Cosmos play a double header.
A close first game was decided by a single goal. Andres Iovara’s second half strike won Port the game 1-0 but also won Andres the Golden Boot trophy!
Another tight game followed and this time it was the Cosmos who took the lead through Noah Halal’s first half goal. It looked like being the winner until a last minute equalizer by Joseph Altamirano made it a final score of 1-1.Thanks to everyone for another excellent season and congrats to Northport Juventus for their final victory and to Andres Iovara for winning the division’s Golden Boot!
CSH Tornadoes 1-1 Destroyers FC
CSH Tornadoes needed a second half equalizer by Walter Kusterbeck to take their semi final against Destroyers FC to overtime. Declan O’Donnell’s early goal had given the Destoyers the lead which they held until mid way through the second period. Neither team could find the winner in extra so the game went to penalty kicks. The Tornadoes finally won it on dramatic fashion after seven penalties each!
Harborfields Athletico 1-2 Southdown Flyers
The second semi final was another close match with Harborfields Athletico taking a first half lead through Michael Wenz. The Southdown Flyers turned it around in the second half and two goals by Owen Gordon were enough for the Flyers who progressed to the final winning 2-1.
CSH Tornadoes 0-6 Southdown Flyers
The Flyers came out on fire in the final and were up 2-0 early thanks to two more Owen Gordon strikes. Gavin Monge and Jack Steinberg added further goals as the Flyers went into half time 4-0 up. Jack Steinberg scored his second and Owen Gordon completed his hat trick after the break to make the final score 6-0 in the Flyers favor. Owen’s goals also won him the division’s Golden Boot!
In the divisions other games Lazio beat the Destroyers 3-2. Noah Reinstein, Gavin Brownell and Eddie Covino gave Lazio a 3-0 lead but two late goals by Nora Wertheimer made it a tense finish.
Harborfields Athletico then recovered from their semi final loss and put six goals past Lazio. Alex Alessuo scored twice in the 6-0 victory.Thank you to everyone for another fun season and congrats to Southdown Flyers and to Owen Gordon on his Golden Boot victory
Hbc Chaos 6-0 Hbc Power
Hbc Chaos continued their strong season winning the first semi final comfortably against the Power. Gale Kurland and Ashley Austin both netted twice in the 6-0 win.
Lady Vikings 1-0 CSH Orange Crush
An exciting semi final between the Crush and Lady Vikings was decided by Wynn Franciscovich’s first half goal. Both teams had chances in the second half but the Vikings held on for the 1-0 win to move into the final.
Hbc Chaos 1-0 Lady Vikings
The Lady Vikings defended very well against the free scoring Chaos girls in a tight first half which ended goalless. The second half was much the same with the Lady Vikings happy to soak up pressure and attack on the break. The game looked to heading to overtime until Golden Boot winner Gale Kurland’s shot found the corner with less than two minutes to play.
In the division’s consolation games Cecilina Monge scored twice as South Huntington Wave beat Hbc Power 4-1. The Wave then tied 1-1 with the Crush. Leighton Evans found the net for the Crush and Marie Costa for the Wave.Thank you to everyone for taking part this season and congrats to Chaos and to Gale Kurland for her Golden Boot win!
BU13/14Northport Thunder won the division’s first game convincingly against Northport Rapids. Ryan DiMario hit a hat trick in the 6-0 victory. Patrick Sandvik was also on target twice and Dan Nertney once.
Harborfields Spurs also beat the Rapids, Anderson Howe, Caiden Veitch and Connor Capabianco all scored in the 4-0 win.
Spurs thought they had another victory in their game against the Thunder but a last second equalizer by Ryan DiMario tied the game up and it ended 2-2.
Liverpool 3-0 Northport Storm
Northport Storm were unfortunate not to be ahead at half time after hitting the crossbar and forcing a couple of good saves from the Liverpool keeper Jayden Castro. After a goalless first half Liverpool struck first when Keaton Levine scored from close range. Keaton’s second goal two minutes later made it an uphill battle for Storm and Anthony Giaramita added a late third late on.
Babylon Fire 2-0 Celtic
Another close contest followed with Charles Bunger giving the Fire the lead over Celtic. Celtic had their chances to level before Aidan Kistner’s goal for the Fire gave them some breathing space and they moved into the final winning 2-0.
3rd place game
Celtic 2-1 Northport Storm
Angelo Lucignano struck two early goals in the space of 20 seconds in the 3rd place game as Celtic took control of the first half. The Storm pulled a goal back after the break and put plenty of pressure on the Celtic defense towards the end of the game but couldn’t get the ball in the net to force overtime.
Babylon Fire 1-3 Liverpool
A confident first half display by Babylon Fire saw them take a deserved 1-0 half time lead against Liverpool. Liverpool came into the game after the break and tied it up when Lennon Harrington found space in the box to shoot. Two minutes later another shot by Lennon Harrington found the corner to give Liverpool their first lead of the game. With Babylon pushing up for the equalizer Liverpool hit them on the break and Lennon scored his and Liverpool’s third goal to win it 3-1
Thanks to everyone for another exciting and competitive winter season. Congrats to Liverpool on their final victory and to Keaton Levine and Lennon Harrington who both shared first place in the race for the ‘Golden Boot’
Hbc Arsenal 1-3 ChelseaChelsea went into the half time break with a one goal lead thanks to a close range finish by Alex Braunstein. Lennon Harrington doubled Chelsea’s lead early in the second half but soon after Arsenal were back in it when Matthew Mallen made it 2-1. Arsenal pressed and had chances but a late own goal wrapped it up for Chelsea who won 3-1.
Benfica 0-1 Hbc Revolution A competitive second semi final saw both teams attack without any results in a goalless first half. The game looked to be heading for extra time until a long clearance from Revolution keeper Michael O’Connor found an unmarked Emerson Soriano who glanced a header in with less than 30 seconds remaining to win it 1-0.
3rd place gameArsenal 0-6 BenficaBenfica bounced back from their disappointing last ditch semi final loss with a convincing win over Arsenal. Nick Castellino scored four times in the 6-0 victory to claim 3rd place for Benfica.
Hbc Revolution 0-4 Chelsea
A close first half ended scoreless between Chelsea and Revolution. Chelsea made the all important breakthrough minutes into the second half when Andrew Pinzone’s shot found the top corner of the net. Ian Franklin then finished off a neat passing move from Chelsea to make it 2-0 and a close range finish from Golden Boot winner Alex Braunstein made it 3-0.Brent Starkey’s late strike added one more for Chelsea.Congrats to Chelsea for their win in the final and to all teams for another great season. Congrats also to Alex Braunstein for his first place finish in the ‘Golden Boot‘ race
Whitman FC 4-1 Eat More Kale
EMK took a first minute lead in the first boys semi final in the BU17/18 division but Whitman were soon level thanks to a Steven Flores shot. An early second half goal by Whitman’s Seb Koch gave them their first lead before Liam Harrington’s shot found the bottom corner to make it 3-1. Daniel Deleo’s late strike made it 4-1 to Whitman who moved into the final.
Huntington United 0-1 Vikingos United did a good job containing Vikingos top scorer Jack Fridman in a competitive and goalless first half. The second half was just as close and looked to be heading for overtime until a long distance drive by Yunior Velasquez flew into the corner of the net to win it 1-0 for the Vikingos.
Vikingos 0-2 Whitman FC
Another fiercely contested game saw both teams miss half chances in a tight first half. With just seconds remaining before the break Jahmeer Sallet hit a thumping volley into the top corner to give Whitman a one goal advantage. The Vikingos played most of the second half without their Golden Boot winner Jack Fridman who picked up an injury and Whitman took advantage when Seb Koch made it 2-0 to make sure they picked up the first place medals.
In the nights other games Legends FC won both games in a double header against Hbc Outlaws. Herbert Fuentes scored the only goal in the first game and was on target in the second game along with Frankie Fuentes as Legends won 2-0.Thanks to everyone for another exciting season, congrats to Whitman FC and to Jack Fridman who won the Golden Boot with 26 goals!
BU18 (Friday)Top scorer Stephan Nikolic hit five goals as FUTC moved into the final with a 6-1 win over Barn Boys FC.
Carmelo Carbone then scored four times as Friday Bevs claimed their place in the final with a 5-3 victory over Miso Hungry.FINALFriday Bevs 5-3 FUTC FC
A well contested final saw Friday Bevs win the first place medals in their second 5-3 win of the night. Aidan Tucker and Mike DiMitrio each scored twice with Carmelo Carbone adding one.
Port United finished the season with two victories. George Kahi scored the games only goal as Port beat Syosset Red 1-0.They followed that up with a 3-0 win over Syosset Black. Bridget, David Suarez and Andres Iovara scored the goals.Northport Real also won twice with victories over Syosset Red and Black. Connor Frey scored twice in the 7-1 win over the Reds then Derek Denisco hit the net twice in the 5-4 victory over Syosset Black.Congrats to all the boys and girls for a great season and to Brady Mounce who won the Golden Boot award.
Week 7 – Review January 31, Feb 1, Feb 2
Liam Bayne opened the scoring in the first half for Hbc Rangers in their game against Hbc Juventus. Ryan Lynch’s deflected shot tied it up for Juventus but a second goal from Liam after the break won it for Rangers 2-1.
Juventus bounced back and two second half goals by Brendan O’Connor saw them beat Hbc Cosmos 2-0.
Hbc Rangers then became the first team this season to inflict a defeat on Northport Juventus thanks to two Owen Guddemi strikes either side of a Reyhan Zaffer goal for Northport, 2-1 the final score.
Noah Halal netted for Hbc Cosmos but goals by Andres Iovara, Hector Alvaranga, Diego Chavez and Randy Garcia gave Port United a 4-1 victory.
Northport Juventus raced into a two goal half time lead over Northport Gunners, both goals scored by Gianluca Lucano.
The Gunners hit back after the break and tied it up thanks to goals by Ben Wood and Jack Rieser. It looked to be heading for a tie until a shot by Billy Gebert with only ten seconds remaining won it 3-2 for Juventus.
The Gunners recovered to beat Port United. Teddy Hopkins struck twice and Logan Mislavsky and Tommy Kelly added goals in the 4-2 victory, Andres Iovara scored both goals for Port.
Michael Wenz gave Harborfields Athletico a 1-0 hall time lead over Destroyers FC but late pressure paid off for the Destroyers and with a minute remaining a Jesse Giavacco goal made it 1-1.
CSH Destroyers made sure of a first place finish going into the play offs with another two victories. Spencer James scored twice in the 6-1 win over the Destroyers then Sal LaCapra netted both goals in the 2-0 win over the Southdown Flyers.
Grant Kurland’s two goals weren’t enough for Lazio as they went down 3-2 to Harborfields Athletico. Michael Shaw, Lucas Anderson and Michael Wenz all found the net for Athletico.
Lazio had a good win coming out on top against the Flyers. Gavin Brownell opened the scoring, Ryan Smith added a second before the break and Eddie Covino wrapped it up with late goal to make it 3-0.
The Lady Vikings opened with a victory beating South Huntington Wave in the GU12/13 division. Christina Saitzyk opened the scoring for the Wave with a close range finish but Genesis Sorto leveled soon after for the Vikings with an excellent left footed half volley. A close second half saw Madyn Kalb score the winner and it ended 2-1.
Bridget Callery’s first half goal proved decisive as CSH Orange Crush beat the Lady Vikings 1-0. Bridget was on target again against the Power and Madyn Kalb added a second to give the Crush a 2-0 half time lead but two goals in the second half by Gillian Kurland tied it up for the Power and ended even at 2-2
Hbc Chaos controlled the game against the Wave, Gale Kurland scored four times and Sophia Livan once in the 5-1 win.
Gale added another four to her tally as Chaos beat the Power 6-0, Ava Sperr and Sammy Heyman completed the scoring.
Babylon Fire and Northport Storm played a competitive game that was goalless at the break. Braydon Conley broke the deadlock midway through the second half and Charles Bunger added a second as the Fire won it 2-0.
Ryan DiMario and Patrick Sandvik scored the goals as Northport Thunder defeated Northport Storm 2-1. Ryan was on target again in the Thunder’s next game. His second half goal tied it up at 1-1 against Harborfields Kosmos after Caiden Veitch had given Kosmos a half time lead.
Grant Kurland and Angelo Lucignano each scored twice as Celtic overcame Harborfields Spurs 5-1. Celtic then won their second game shutting out the Raptors 3-0, AJ Theingar, Troy Barack and Grant Kurland scored the goals.
Liverpool finished the regular season with two victories. Dylan Gugin hit a second half hat trick in the 7-1 win over Harborfields Spurs then Dylan and Keaton Levine each scored twice in the 6-0 win over Northport Raptors.
Hbc Arsenal and Northport Dynamo Blue got the BU15/16 division underway and a tight game saw both teams unable to score in the opening half. Arsenal pressed in the second half but couldn’t find the net and the Dynamo took advantage winning 1-0 with a last minute goal by Joe Pepper.
Another end to end game saw Arsenal lose again by one goal this time to Benfica who secured a second place finish in the league. Jonathan Shank and Matthew Mallen were on target for Arsenal but a Nick Castellino hat trick gave Benfica a 3-2 win.
Gabriel Prudencio was another player to claim a hat trick as Hbc Revolution beat Dynamo Blue 5-0. The Revolution went two for two with a 3-0 victory over Dynamo White with goals by Ryan Curran, Bryan Chavez and Emerson Soriano.
Chelsea finished the league season with two wins to take maximum points from all of their games. Matt Mazzilli hit a hat trick and Liam Harrington scored twice in the 7-2 victory over Benfica then Liam completed a hat trick in the 5-1 win against Dynamo White.
Whitman FC secured a first place finish taking the points in their final two league games. Seb Koch scored a hat trick in the 5-0 win over the Hbc Outlaws before an end to end encounter with Eat More Kale saw Chris Schindler score the only goal of a tight first half. EMK came close to an equalizer before Liam Harrington’s powerful strike in the last minute made it 2-0 to Whitman.
David Lazaro’s goal looked to have given Legends FC a long awaited victory but a late goal by the Outlaws’ Dan Costello tied it up at 1-1 and the points were shared.
Jack Fridman regained top place in the golden boot race with a five goal haul in the Vikingos 7-1 victory over Legends FC.
Huntington United shut the Vikingos out in a competitive first half but once the deadlock was broken by a Jack Fridman goal they went on to add four more to win 5-0 with Jack completing another hat trick.United and Eat More Kale played an exciting game that saw Jake Delrosario give EMK an early lead. Kevin Rankel equalized soon after but Matt Nieto restored EMK’s lead before half time. A dramatic last 25 seconds saw United win a free kick which found its way to Andreas Valencia who tied it up. It looked like earning United a tie but straight from the kick off EMK went forward and a goalmouth scramble resulted in Matt Nieto scoring from close range to win it 3-2.
BU8/9Port United enjoyed two victories in the BU8/9 division. Eric Araujo, Yogev Yerushalmy and David Suarez all netted in the 3-0 win over Northport Real then Yogev and Jonathan Mendez scored in the 2-1 triumph over Syosset Red.Brady Mounce hit a hat trick, James Conte scored twice and Oliver Radziul once as Northport recovered to beat Syosset Black 6-2.
Week 6 – Review January 24, 25, 26
Hbc Rangers and Northport Gunners got week 6 underway and shared the points in a 1-1 tie. Jacob Fleischer gave Rangers the lead in the second half but Ben Wood equalized for the Gunners shortly after.
Liam Bayne and Owen Guddemi then scored the goals as Rangers beat Hbc Cosmos 2-1, Noah Halal replied for the Cosmos.
The Gunners tied for the second time, this time against Hbc Juventus. Thomas Kelly gave the Gunners a 1-0 half time lead but Brennan McNally evened it up for Juventus and it ended 1-1.
Northport Juventus had a comfortable win over Hbc Cosmos, Joey Smith scored twice in the 6-0 victory.
An exciting game between Hbc Juventus and Port United ended with a winning goal for Port in the last 30 seconds. Andres Iuvaro gave Port the lead but Henry Sweeney tied it up before the break for Hbc. Both teams had chances to win it before Randy Garcia’s dramatic late free kick found the top corner.
Northport Juventus kept their unbeaten record intact with a 2-0 win over Port United, Pace Kourtis and Rory Banks scored the goals.
Michael Wenz opened the scoring to give Harborfields Athletico a 1-0 lead over Southdown Flyers in the BU11 division. A competitive second half saw Jack Steinberg convert a penalty kick to tie it up for the Flyers and it ended even at 1-1.
Harrison Green scored in each half for CSH Tornadoes as they defeated Athleico 2-0. The Tornadoes then beat Lazio 3-1 go clear at the top of the table. Spencer James, Walter Kusterbeck and Christian Luca all scored second half goals after Lazio had led 1-0 at the half through a Ryan Smith shot.
Gavin Monge scored the only goal of a close first half for the Flyers in their game against Destroyers FC. Owen Gordon struck twice after the break and Jack Steinberg added two late goals as the Flyers came out on top 5-0.
The Destoyers recovered to claim a victory over Lazio, Owen Lakhani was on target twice in the 4-1 win.
South Huntington Wave had a good day winning both of their games 2-1. Celina Bertram and Katie Hovestadt scored their goals against the Power then Christina Saitzyk and Keysy Campos found the net in the victory over CSH Orange Crush.
The Lady Vikings and Hbc Power played an entertaining game that ended all square at 3-3. The Vikings led 2-0 early in the game but were 3-2 down by half time.
Ruby Baliber scored the only goal of the second half to tie it up to add to her strike in the first half. Alexa Torrey also scored for the Vikings with two Saige Hasson goals and one by Abigail Nevins evening things up for the Power.
Chaos continued their winning run with a confident victory over CSH Crush, Natalie Hample and Allie Alloggiamento each scored twice in the 6-1 win.
The Lady Vikings and Chaos played a close game with neither team able to find the net in the first half. Allie Alloggiamento finally broke the deadlock to give Chaos the lead but a last minute goal by Ruby Baliber tied it up for the Vikings and it ended 1-1.
Northport Storm raced into a 3-0 half time lead over Northport Rapids. The Storm added one more after the break to win 4-0 with Rumi Zaffer scoring twice.
Harborfields Spurs and Northport Storm played an even game that ended in a tie. Both teams had chances but were unable to find the net and it ended goalless.
Harborfields Kosmos and Northport Rapids followed and again both teams were unable to take their chances and had to settle for a point in the 0-0 draw.
Braydon Conley had no problem scoring claiming a hat trick in Babylon Fire’s 5-1 victory over Harborfields Spurs.
Braydon was on target again along with Aidan Krollage as the Fire went two for two beating Northport Thunder 2-0.
Two Robbie Campbell goals helped Liverpool beat Kosmos 4-0 before Liverpool and Celtic played an end to end game that ended 1-1. Keaton Levine gave Liverpool a first half lead but AJ Theingar converted a second half penalty kick to even it up.
Angelo Lucignano gave Celtic a first minute lead over Northport Thunder but two quick second half goals by James Bratchie and Ian Campbell gave Thunder the advantage and they held on to take the points in the 2-1 win.
Benfica made sure they stayed in second place with two back to back wins. Jack Steel and Nick Castellino scored in the 2-1 victory over Northport Dynamo White. Nick was on target again against Dynamo Blue after Trent Artz had opened the scoring as Benfica won 2-0.
Jonathan Shank hit four goals in Arsenal’s comfortable 5-0 win over Dynamo White.Jonathan then gave Arsenal a 1-0 half time lead over Hbc Revolution but Ryan Curran’s second half strike made sure the points were shared in the 1-1 tie.Chelsea maintained their winning record beating Dynamo Blue then Hbc Revolution. Liam Harrington was on target twice the 5-0 victory over Dynamo Blue then Alex Braunstein hit a hat trick in the 6-1 win over the Revolution.
BU17/18An exciting match between Vikingos and Eat More Kale was settled by a lone first half strike by Angel Vega, EMK pressed late but couldn’t find the equalizer.An Andreas Valencia hat trick then gave Huntington United an impressive 3-0 triumph over EMK. Andreas was also on target against Legends FC along with Dylan Thody in United’s 2-1 win.Whitman FC came out strong against the Vikingos and were soon up 3-0. Seb Koch hit two unstoppable shots and Steven Flores added another before half time. Seb completed his hat trick with a penalty kick after the break before Golden Boot leader Jack Fridman pulled a goal back for the Vikingos, 4-1 the final score.Whitman then beat Legends FC to stay top of the league table. Liam Harrington opened the scoring before Seb Koch claimed his second hat trick of the day. Steven Flores added two more in the 6-1 win.
FUTC FC opened week six with a 7-3 win over Friday Bevs, Aidan Cuthbertson, Andrew Wallace and John Vallen each scored twice.
Friday Bevs recovered to beat Miso Hungry in an end to end game, Aidan Tucker scored a hat trick for the Bevs in their 4-3 victory.
FUTC FC made it two for two on the night, Stephan Nikolic hit two goals in the 4-2 win over Barn Boys.
Miso Hungry also turned it around winning their second game. Austin Debus netted twice in a 6-5 triumph over Barn Boys.
BU8/9 (Sunday)Port United had a good day winning both of their games. Eric Araujo, Yogev Yerushalmy and Osher Yerushalmy were on target in the 3-1 victory over Syosset Black then David Suarez scored twice in the 3-1 win over Syosset Red, Joseph Altamirano added the third for Port.Northport Real also won twice. Derek Denisco fired home a last second penalty kick to win it for Real 3-2 over Syosset Black after Brady Mounce had scored twice in the first half.James Siragusa then hit a hat trick in the 4-0 win over the Reds, Gael MacKernan netted the fourth.
Week 5 – Review January 17, 18, 19
Northport Juventus maintained their unbeaten record and took maximum points from their two games. Pace Kourtis was on target twice in the 4-1 win over Hbc Rangers then an early goal by Gianluca Lucano proved to be enough in a 1-0 victory over Hbc Juventus.
Another close game followed and again one goal was the difference as Hbc Rangers defeated Port United 1-0 thanks to Chase Marini’s first half strike.
Hbc Cosmos and Hbc Juventus played a tight and scoreless first half but second half goals by Kevin Howard, Jack Radigan and Ryan Lynch saw Juventus win it 3-0.
Northport Gunners had two competitive week 5 games. They came out on top over Port United winning 2-0 with goals by Logan Mislavsky and Nick Ginisi but were unable to break down a resolute Hbc Cosmos defense and a tight game ended all square at 0-0.
Harborfields Athletico had a productive week winning both of their games. Michael Shaw scored a goal in each half in the 2-0 victory over Destroyers FC then Michael Wenz hit two in the 2-1 win over Lazio. Eddie Covino pulled a goal back for Lazio but despite some late pressure they couldn’t tie it up.
CSH Tornadoes also went two for two with wins over Destroyers and Southdown Flyers. Austin Krywak netted twice in a comfortable 5-0 victory over the Destroyers and was on target again in a close game with the Flyers. Spencer James also scored to give the Tornadoes a two goal cushion but a late Michael Tucker strike for the Flyers led to a tense finish but CSH held on to win 2-1.
Owen Gordon was another player to score twice as the Flyers recovered to beat Lazio 3-1. Joseph Perotti also found the net for the Flyers who were losing 1-0 after Eddie Covino’s early goal.
Golden Boot leader Gale Kurland hit another four goals and Ashley Austin added two as Hbc Chaos beat Hbc Power 6-0. The Chaos also shut out South Huntington Wave 3-0 with goals by Gale, Allie Alloggiamento and Natalie Hample.
CSH Orange Crush collected the two points in a 4-1 win over Hbc Power. Madyn Kalb scored twice, Leighton Evans and Marie Lumia added the others.
The Lady Vikings defended well keeping two back to to back clean sheets. Chelsea Gordon and Sam Muller scored the goals in a 2-0 victory over SH Wave before an intense game against the Orange Crush ended 0-0.
Grant Kurland’s first half strike was enough to secure Celtic the points in a 1-0 win over Harborfields Kosmos. Grant was on target again against Northport Storm but the Storm came out on top winning 4-1 thanks to two goals by Alex Conigliaro and one each by Patrick Sandvik and Rummy Zaffer.
Caiden Veitch and Carter Veitch both netted goals for Harborfields Spurs as they defeated Northport Thunder 2-1.
Luca Mazzilli hit a brace in both games for Liverpool as they beat Northport Storm 3-0 then Babylon Fire 3-0. Robbie Campbell also scored in each game to keep Liverpool on top of the league table.
Northport Thunder bounced back from their earlier loss with a convincing 6-0 victory over the Rapids, James Bratchie and Rummy Zaffer each struck twice.
The Rapids recovered to claim the points in an impressive win over Babylon Fire. Liam Prassad scored twice in the 3-0 triumph.
Hbc Revolution started with a victory beating Northport Dynamo White. Anthony Sandoval, Thomas Kaler and Jovan Monge scored the goals in the 3-1 win. Jovan was on target again striking twice in the 2-0 victory over Benfica.
The Northport derby between the two Dynamo teams saw Austin Hickman score twice in the 3-1 win for the Blues. The Blues then played Hbc Arsenal but were on the wrong end of a 4-0 result, Jonathan Shank scored a hat trick and David McCalla netted once for Arsenal.
Chelsea maintained their 100% record but were pushed hard in both of their games. Matteo Mazzilli, Liam Harrington, Andrew Pinzone, Bobby Baldwin and Ian Franklin all scored in the 5-2 win over Benfica before they found themselves 2-0 down in the first half against Hbc Arsenal. David McCalla and Matthew Mallen opened the scoring for Hbc but an unfortunate own goal let Chelsea back in the game and second half strikes by Liam Harrington, Bobby Baldwin and Ian Franklin saw Chelsea take the points winning 4-2.
Legends FC had lost 7 of their eight games leading up to the week 5 games but six of those losses were by one goal! Another tough game against the Outlaws saw Jose Bautista tie it up for for the Legends at 1-1 after Dan Costello had given the Outlaws a 1-0 half time lead.
It looked like the points would be shared but an Owen Byrnes’ goal inside the last ten seconds of the game saw the Outlaws win it 2-1 to condemn the Legends to another one goal loss.
Golden Boot leader Jack Fridman gave the Vikingos the lead over the Legends and another one goal defeat looked likely until Yunior Velasquez hit a late second for Vikingos who won it 2-0.
The Outlaws and Whitman FC played a fast and physical game but neither team could find the net and the points were shared in the 0-0 tie.
Second half goals by Seb Koch and Steven Flores saw Whitman FC defeat Huntington United 2-0 in another close match before the Vikingos made it two out of two beating United. Jack Fridman was on top form hitting all four goals in the 4-1 victory.
There were plenty of goals to celebrate in the BU18/19 division as the teams threw caution to the wind and went all out attack!
Andy Grover scored a hat trick in Friday Bevs 6-0 win over Barn Boys then Aidan Cuthbertson hit a hat trick and Andrew Wallace struck five times in FUTC’s 9-3 victory over Barn Boys.
TJ Carroll scored twice as Friday Bevs went two for two beating Miso Hungry 4-2 then Andrew Wallace hit another four as FUTC won a close game with Miso Hungry 7-6.
Week 4 – Review January 11, 12
All the BU8/9 games were close and exciting affairs. James Siragusa broke the deadlock in the second half for Northport Real against Port United but Jacob Rea equalized soon after for Port and it ended even at 1-1.
Bradley Gebert, James Conte and Gael MacKernan all scored to put Northport Real in control against Syosset Red but a second half own goal and a late strike by Kumpei led to a tense finish with Real holding on for the 3-2 victory.

United played an end to end intense game but neither team could find the net
and despite plenty of goalmouth action it ended 0-0.
Arturi Landau’s close range shot gave Hbc Juventus a 1-0 half time lead over Hbc Rangers in the BU10 opening game.
Brendan O’Connor extended the lead after the break but two late goals by Jacob Fleischer then Ben Guddemi saw Rangers draw level and it ended 2-2.
Hbc Cosmos found their scoring touch with three second half strikes against Hbc Rangers. Noah Halal, Brett Levine and Jack Zipkin all scored in the 3-0 victory.
Northport Gunners led 1-0 against Hbc Juventus thanks to a Teddy Hopkins goal But Kevin Howard’s long range shot tied it up for Hbc shortly after and it ended even at 1-1.
Joseph Altamaro and Andres Iuvara scored second half goals goals to give Port United a 2-0 victory over Hbc Cosmos. Andres was on target again against Northport Juventus but first half goals by Gianluca Lucano and Reyhan Zaffer gave Juventus the 2-1 win.
The two Northport teams, Juventus and Gunners, played a close game that looked to be heading for a 0-0 tie until an unfortunate late own goal won it 1-0 for Juventus.
There was plenty of action in the game between CSH Tornadoes and Southdown Flyers but despite some good chances neither team could find the net and it ended goalless.
The Tornadoes’ finishing was more clinical in their next game as they defeated Destroyers FC 4-1. Owen Lakhani gave the Destroyers the lead but goals by Walter Kusterbeck, Austin Krywak, Matthew James and Spencer James turned it around for CSH.
The Flyers also improved in front of goal in their second game with Jack Steinberg scoring a hat trick in the 5-0 victory over Lazio.
Harborfields Athletico beat Destroyers FC 2-0 thanks to goals either side of half time by Colin Smith and Michael Wenz. Athletico kept a second clean sheet against Lazio but had to settle for a point in an entertaining 0-0 tie.
Gabby Perciballi gave South Huntington Wave a 1-0 half time lead over CSH Orange Crush. The Crush turned it around after the break and goals by Madyn Kalb and Sierra Riepe saw them take the lead 2-1. Samantha Castano scored the games final goal with only seconds remaining to tie it up for the Wave, 2-2 the final score.
Two Kyra Ranaan strikes and a goal by Gale Kurland gave Hbc Chaos a 3-0 victory over the Crush. Gale then netted twice as Chaos continued their winning streak with a 4-0 triumph over the Lady Vikings, Kyra Ranaan and Ashley Austin were also on target.
Janie Weiss scored twice and Gillian Kurland once as Hbc Power defeated the Wave 2-0. Power made it two out of two beating the Lady Vikings, Saige Hasson found the net twice and Abby Foodim once in the 3-1 win. Wynne
Franciscovich replied for the Vikings.
Celtic raced into a 3-0 half time against Babylon Fire with goals by Grant Kurland, Rene Florville and Angelo Lucignano. The Fire responded well after the break and pulled a couple back through Aidan Krollage and Charles Bunger but Celtic held firm to win it 3-2.
The Fire continued to improve and beat Harborfields Kosmos 4-0, Hayden Baudille and Aidan Krollage each netted twice.
A second half goal by Troy Batak was enough to fire Celtic to a 1-0 victory over Harborfields Spurs in a closely fought match. Spurs recovered to record a 2-0 win over Northport Rapids with Anderson Soper and Connor Brancaccio scoring the goals.
Cater Veitch and Caiden Veitch gave Harborfields Kosmos a two goal lead over Northport Storm but an Alex Bender goal and a late Alex Conigliaro strike leveled it for the Storm, 2-2 the final score.
Northport Storm dominated against Northport Thunder, Alex Conigliaro hit the net four times in the second half after Rumi Zaffer had scored a hat trick in the first. 7-1 the final result.
Liverpool continued their winning streak with a comfortable 6-0 victory over Northport Rapids, Noah Reinstein and CJ Abbott each scoring twice.
Northport Thunder then ended Liverpool’s unbeaten run with a 3-1 victory. Ryan DiMario’s two second half goals adding to an own goal before the break.
Hbc Arsenal had a good week taking maximum points from their two games.
Nick LaCapra hit a hat trick and Jonathan Shank scored twice in the 6-2 victory over Hbc Revolution. Jonathan was on target again against Benfica along with David McCalla as Arsenal won a close game 2-1.
Benfica got back on track beating Northport Dynamo Blue 2-0 thanks to goals by Brett Rosenbaum and Nick Constant.
Joe Athanasio scored in each half as Northport Dynamo White beat Hbc Revolution 2-0.
Chelsea maintained their winning streak beating both Dynamo teams. Brent Starkey and Alex Braunstein each netted twice in the 4-0 victory over Dynamo Blue then Andrew Pinzone, Liam Harrington and Alex Braunstein scored two apiece in the win over the Whites. Ian Franklin was also on target in the 7-1 win.
The Vikingos had their best week of the season so far beating Hbc Outlaws before inflicting a first defeat on Eat More Kale.
Jack Fridman did most of the damage scoring both in the 2-0 win over the Outlaws then another two in the 3-1 triumph over EMK, Andre Oregon added the third.
A well executed volley on the turn by Dylan Thody saw Huntington United take the lead over the Ourlaws. Andres Valencia added two more in the second half in an impressive 3-0 win.
EMK got back to winning ways but were pushed all the way by Legends FC. A close range finish by Tyler Aubree in the first half proved to be enough as EMK won it 1-0.
An intense game between Huntington United and Whitman FC could have gone either but was settled mid way through the second half thanks to two clinical strikes by Seb Koch as Whitman finished strong to win 2-0.
Whitman FC then had another nail biter against Legends FC who lost for the second time by the odd goal. Seb Koch was again on target as was Daniel Dileo to give Whitman a 2-0 lead. Ruben Reyes pulled one back for Legends but despite some late pressure they couldn’t add to it.
Northport Real had a good week winning both of their games and hitting five goals in each game! Brady Mounce, James Siragusa and Charlie Sallese each scored twice on the day as they beat Syosset Black 5-0 then Syosset Red 5-1.
Yogev Yerushalmy and David Suarez were on target as Port United tied 2-2 with Syosset Black. Yogev scored again against the Reds but two goals by Luke Kosoff saw the Reds win it 2-1.
Week 3 – Review January 3, 4, 5
Jeff Acosta gave Barn Boys FC an early lead in their game with Miso Hungry but a second half goal by Corey Phelan leveled it up and it ended all square at 1-1.
Miso then claimed the points against FUTC with Ryan Sullivan scoring a hat trick in the 5-3 victory.
Connor Fleming netted twice for Barn Boys but went down 7-3 to Friday Bevs. Carmelo Carbone hit four goals and Tommy Widner scored twice in the 7-3 win.
Stefan Nikolic hit the net five times for FUTC as they defeated Friday Bevs 7-4. Aidan Cuthbertson was also on target twice with Aidan Tucker replying twice for the Bevs.
Northport Gunners kept two clean sheets to start week 3 but had to settle for two ties as both of their games ended goalless against Hbc Rangers then Hbc Cosmos.
Rangers finally scored the first goals of the week beating Port United. Liam Bayne, Owen Guddemi and Weston Ritcey scored in the 3-1 victory.
Northport Gunners claimed maximum points with two convincing wins. Joey Smith was on target twice in the 5-0 triumph over Hbc Cosmos then Billy Gebert and Michael Ilovic each netted twice in the 4-0 win against Hbc Juventus.
Juventus picked up two points beating Port United 2-0 thanks to first half goals by Jack Radigan and Kevin Howard.
Eddie Covino scored twice for Lazio but they were beaten by the Destroyers.
Noah Delello scored a hat trick in the convincing 7-2 win.
Eddie netted another two in Lazio’s next game but was again on the losing team as a confident CSH Tornadoes team came out on top 7-3 with Christian Luca hitting a hat trick.
Owen Lakhani was another player who scored twice but saw his team lose. Jack Steinberg hit the net twice in the first half for the Southdown Flyers as they overcame the Destroyers 5-2.
Harborfields Athletico and The Tornadoes shared the points in an even match that ended 1-1. Lucas Anderson was on target for Athletico and Christian Luca for the Tornadoes.
A competitive game then saw Athletico get the better of the Southdown Flyers. Michael Wenz scored twice and Ryan Taratko once in the 3-1 victory.
Alexa Torrey broke the deadlock for the Lady Vikings in their game against South Huntington Wave with the last kick of the first half. That proved to be the only goal as the Vikings held on for the 1-0 win.
The Lady Vikings then made it two wins out of two with a 4-1 victory over CSH Orange Crush. Jamyn Husselbeck opened the scoring and goals by Anna Sarducci, Kate Rogers and Ruby Baliber followed.
Gale Kurland hit a hat trick as Chaos defeated SH Wave 4-1 with Sophia Livan adding one. Gale was also on target twice as the Chaos beat Hbc Power 6-0.
Leighton Evans netted twice for the Orange Crush as they bounced back to beat the Power, Laura Sheehan also scored in the 3-1 victory.
Celtic had a good week recording wins over Northport Rapids then Northport Thunder. Angelo Lucignano and AJ Thengar each scored twice in the 5-0 victory over the Rapids with Rene Florville adding one. Rene then opened the scoring in the first minute against the Thunder. Grant Kurland added a second after the break for Celtic before Patrick Sandvik pulled one back for the Thunder to make the final score 2-1.
Ryan DiMario hit a first half hat trick for Northport Storm in their game with the Rapids. Patrick Sarana added two after the break and Alex Conigliaro one in the 6-1 victory.
Babylon Fire looked like taking the points as they led 2-0 over the Storm with only a few minutes remaining. Aidan Krollage and Charles Bunger scored for the Fire but two late strikes by Sean Frey tied it up for the Storm and it finished even at 2-2.

Liverpool stay top of the division after two comfortable victories in week 3. Keaton Levine scored a hat trick in the 6-0 win over the Kosmos, Lennon Harrington added two and Luca Mazzilli one to complete the scoring.
Keaton, Lennon and Noah Reinstein then each scored twice and Dylan Gugin once in the 7-1 win over the Spurs.
Jack Jimenez hit a hat trick as Arsenal beat Northport Dynamo Blue 5-0, Jonathan Shank and David McCalla were also on target.
Jonathan then gave Arsenal the lead over Dynamo White but goals by AJ Loicano and Gavin DeSimone saw the Dynamo turn it around. David McCalla netted the final goal of the game for Arsenal to even it up and it ended all square at 2-2.
Benfica made it five wins out of five after defeating Dynamo Blue 2-0. Luca Mazzilli and Nick Castellano scored either side of the break
The two undefeated teams then met for the first time this season as Benfica played Chelsea. Lennon Harrington gave Chelsea the lead and Andrew Pinzone added a second before half time. A close second half followed but the game was settled when Lennon Harrington claimed his second and Chelsea’s third to win it 3-0.
An end to end game between Hbc Revolution and Dynamo White saw Eric Sandoval score the only goal as Revolution came out on top 1-0.
Chelsea made it six wins out of six with a victory over the Revolution. Lennon Harrington scored the only goal of a tight first half but second half efforts by Ian Franklin, Matteo Mazzilli and a second for Lennon Harrington made it a final score of 4-0.
BU17/18Vikingos got their first win of the season with an impressive victory over Legends FC. Jack Fridman scored a hat trick and Angel Vega hit two in the 5-1 win.Jack netted another two in the Vikingos game against Whitman FC but after leading 1-0 at half time the Vikingos found themselves 3-1 down. Two clinical finishes from Seb Koch and a goal by Steven Flores turned it around for Whitman with Jack’s late second goal proving to be just a consolation as Whitman won it 3-2.Dylan Thody’s early strike was enough to keep Huntington United’s winning streak alive as they beat Legends FC 1-0.An excellent volley by Owen Byrnes gave the Outlaws the lead over Whitman FC but long range strikes by Seb Koch then Liam Harrington saw Whitman lead 2-1 at the half. CJ Conte extended Whitman’s lead after the break before another well executed volley by the Outlaws’ Michael Pinzone in the dying seconds ended the scoring with Whitman recording their second 3-2 win of the day.Eat More Kale had a good week with two hard fought vIctories. Huntington United lost their unbeaten record as goals by Kenny McNiff, Dylan Ehrlich and Trevor Hubbard saw EMK beat them 3-1. Dylan and Richard Tyler then scored the goals in the 2-0 triumph over the Outlaws which saw EMK move to the top of the league table.
BU9Northport Real and Port United played an exciting game with Real coming out on top 2-1. Brady Mounce amd Derek Denisco scored the goals for Real either side of Yogev Yerushalmy’s goal for Port.Lucas Kosoff was on target twice for Syosset Black as they beast Port United 4-2, Lucas scored another two in Syosset Black’s 5-5 tie with Syosset Red.Northport Real found themselves 4-0 down at half time against Syosset Red. A much improved second half saw Real bring it back to 4-3 but despite late chances they couldn’t tie it up and the Reds held on for the 4-3 victory.
Week 2 – Review December 20, 21, 22
Syosset Black overcame Syosset Red 3-2 in a tight BU8/9 game. Cooper Lieberman and Teddy scored for the Reds but two strikes by Niko Liuzzo and one by Dev Gandhi gave Syosset Black the points.Port United had a good week winning both of their games by a score of 2-0. Jonathan Mendez and Dante Lopez scored against Syosset Red then David Suarez and Yogev Yerushalmy were on target against Northport Real.Brady Mounce hit a hat trick for Real as they secured their first win of the season beating Syosset Black 3-1.
Northport Juventus and Hbc Rangers got week two underway in the BU10 division and it was Juventus who came out on top. Pace Kourtis, Billy Gerbert and Reyhan Zaffer scored in the 3-0 victory.
Hbc Juventus then played Rangers and a Kevin Howard strike gave them a 1-0 half time lead. A close second half saw Liam Bayne tie it up for Rangers and it ended 1-1.
Northport Gunners and Northport Juventus shared four goals in another end to end game. Logan Miscavsky scored twice for the Gunners but Billy Gebert and Tye leveled for Juventus to make it 2-2.
Hbc Juventus took the points in their game against Hbc Cosmos. Jack Radigan netted twice and Arturi Landau once in the 3-0 victory.
A first half penalty kick converted by Rory Banks proved enough for Northport Gunners who beat Port United 1-0. Port recovered to win their second game beating the Cosmos 2-1 thanks to first half goals by Osher Yerushalmy and Yogev Yerushalmy.
Colin Smith, Michael Wenz and Devin Turer were all on target for Harborfields Athletico as they defeated Destroyers FC 3-0 in the division’s opening game.
The CSH Tornadoes also beat the Destroyers, Christian Luca, Spencer James, Matthew James and Walter Kusterbeck all scored in the 4-1 win.
First half strikes by Jack Corcoran and Eddie Covino saw Lazio claim the points in a 2-0 triumph over Harborfields Athletico. Southdown Flyers then went two for two on the day with shut out victories over CSH Tornadoes and Lazio.
Owen Gordon, Jack Steinberg and Xander Arias found the net in the 3-0 win over CSH then Logan Bloom and Owen Gordon scored in the 2-0 victory over Lazio
South Huntington Wave and CSH Orange Crush played a tight opening game in the girls U12/13 division with the Wave coming out on top 2-0.
Hbc Power went two for two with wins over the Wave and the Lady Vikings.
Jamie Weiss broke the deadlock against the Wave before an unfortunate own goal made it 2-0.
Another close match up saw Saige Hasson score the game winning goal against the Vikings, 1-0 the final score.
Chaos took maximum points to stay top of the table. Gale Kurland scored five times in the 6-2 victory over the Crush. Ashley Austin was also on target with Leighton Evans replying twice for the Crush.
Gale was on target twice against the Lady Vikings, Kyra Ranaan and Allie Alloggiamento also added two each in the 6-0 win.
Babylon Fire had a good week with two victories in the BU13/14 division.
Charles Bunger and Aidan Kistner each scored twice in the 6-0 win over Northport Rapids before Aidan Krollage bagged a hat trick in the 4-1 win over Northport Thunder.
Harborfields Kosmos had a comfortable victory over the Rapids, Connor Capabianco hit a hat trick and Colin Burke added two in the 7-1 win.
Celtic shut out the Kosmos to claim their first win of the campaign. AJ Theingar, Grant Kurland and Rene Florville scored the goals in the 3-0 triumph.

Eric Sandoval opened the scoring for the Revolution and they took a 1-0 lead into the half time break against Northport Dynamo Blue. Adrian O’Donnell leveled for the Blues but Ryan Curran scored a late winner to see the Revolution triumph 2-1.
Alex Braunstein and Lennon Harrington both found the net twice in Chelsea’s 6-0 win over Arsenal. An own goal and a Liam Harrington strike completed the scoring.
Alex and Lennon again scored two each against Northport Dynamo White. Chase Sherman had tied it up in the first half for the Whites but Chelsea rallied late with three goals to take the points in the 4-1 victory.
The two Northport Dynamo’s met for the first time and a tight first half remained scoreless. Joe Athanasio struck for the Blues after the break but two goals by Chase Sherman and one by Aidan O’Donnell saw the Whites win it 3-1.
Dylan Ehrlich’s first half goal looked like winning it for EMK in their match against Legends FC but a second half shot from Jason Kaiser tied it up for the Legends and it ended all square at 1-1.
Legends FC and the Hbc Outlaws then went head to head. Both teams failed to score in a close first half and it looked liked ending even until an Owen Byrnes goal with less than a minute remaining won it 1-0 for the Outlaws.
Another close and competitive match saw Lake Hayes give EMK a 1-0 half time lead over Whitman FC. A fast paced second half followed and despite late pressure from Whitman EMK held firm for the win.
Ian Kaish scored the only goal of the opening half of the Outlaws game with the Vikingos. Michael Pinzone added a second after the break to give the Outlaws a 2-0 win.

FUTC took maximum points from their two games in the BU18/19 division. Stefan Nikolic and Aidan Cuthbertson each scored twice in the 5-4 win over Friday Bevs then Stefan netted a hat trick with Aidan adding two in the 5-1 triumph over Barn Boys FC.Miso Hungry also won twice to stay joint top of the table. Austin Debus, Ryan Sullivan and Will Ellsworth all scored twice in the 7-3 win over Friday Bevs then Austin, Ryan and Joe DeSimone were on target in the 3-0 win over Barn Boys.
Week 1 – Review December 13, 14, 15
Syosset Red and Port United got Sunday’s BU8/9 division started and it was the Red’s who came out on top. Luke Milanovic and Brody Pinkus each scored twice in the 6-0 victory. The Reds made it two wins with a hard fought win over Northport Real, an unfortunate own goal early in the first half proved to be the difference between the teams as the Reds held on for the 1-0 victory.Syosset Black also took maximum points winning both of their games. Luke Kosoff scored a hat trick and Harris Weschler scored once in the 4-2 triumph over Port United. Jonathan Mendez and Dante Tapia replied with goals for United.Luke and Harris were also on target for Syosset Black in their 3-0 win over Northport Real
HBC Rangers got the new season started with a win over Hbc Cosmos. Two Liam Bayne goals and one by Owen Guddemi, all in the first half, saw them come out on top 3-0.
Northport Juventus began their season impressively beating the Cosmos 6-0. Reyhan Zaffer and Joey Smith each scored twice.
Jack Rooney scored the only goal of a close game as Hbc Rangers beat Northport Gunners to record their second win of the day.
Northport Juventus also made it two out of two beating Port United. First half goals by Gianluca Lucano and AJ DeGiovanna were enough to give them a 2-0 victory.
Two goals by Teddy Hopkins saw the Gunners take a 2-1 lead over Hbc Juventus but Hbc hit back and two strikes by Jack Radigan and one by Henry Sweeney saw them take the points with a 3-2 win.
Hbc Juventus then became the third team of the day to take maximum points with a 3-1 victory over Port United. Brennan McNally was on target twice and Ryan Lynch once, Bacon Iuvara replied for Port.
Southdown Flyers got their season underway with a 4-1 victory over Destroyers FC, Jack Steinberg and Owen Gordon each scored twice.
The Flyers were brought down to earth soon after as Harborfields Athletics beat them 2-1 thanks to first half goals by Jason Melhado and Michael Wenz.
The Destroyers bounced back to beat Lazio 5-3, Declan O’Donnell and Owen Lakhani both netted twice while Eddie Corvino hit two for Lazio.
CSH Tornadoes and HF Athletics shared the points in their game. Spencer James gave the Tornadoes the lead in the 2nd half but Michael Wenz tied it up and it ended 1-1.
The Tornadoes then finished strongly beating Lazio 7-1. Christian Luca, Walter Kusterbeck and Spencer James all scored twice in a confident display.
Madyn Kalb began the season in style hitting a hat trick in both of the CSH Orange Crush games as they defeated the Lady Vikings 4-2 then HBC Power 4-3.South Huntington Wave beat the Lady Vikings 2-1 thanks to goals by Sam Costano and Sam Pirozzi but went down 5-0 against HBC Chaos. Sophia Livan and Allie Alloggiamento both scored twice for Chaos who also beat HBC Power. Gale Kurland netted a hat trick in the 5-1 win.
Northport Storm claimed the points in their game against Harborfields Kosmos, Alex Conigliaro, Patrick Sandvik and Vinnie Solleti all scored in the 3-0 victory. Harborfields Spurs were 6-0 victors against the Northport Rapids, Charlie Bair, Caiden Veitch and Carter Veitch each found the net twice in the comfortable win.Northport Storm and Celtic played an end to end game which looked like ending goalless until the Storm’s Remi Zaffer scored a last minute winner. Northport Thunder started their season with a win beating the Rapids 2-0 thanks to goals by Ryan DiMario and Sean Frey.Babylon Fire also got off to a good start beating Celtic 3-1, the goals coming from Charles Murphy, Aidan Kistner and Charles Bunger.Liverpool were the only team to win both of their games. Lennon Harrington scored all five goals in the 5-0 victory over Northport Thunder then Keaton Levine and Lennon Harrington each netted hat tricks in the 7-1 win over Babylon Fire, Anthony Giamarita was also on the score sheet for Liverpool.
Northport Dynamo White opened with a 4-1 triumph over Hbc Arsenal, AJ Loiacono scored twice. They couldn’t make it two out of two as Benfica claimed the points with a 1-0 victory against them, Jack Steel’s first half goal proving to be enough.Benfica did make it two wins though with a 4-0 victory over Northport Dynamo Blue.David McCalla fount the net twice for Hbc Arsenal but Ryan Curran struck four times as Hbc Revolution opened their season with a 5-2 win. Revolution were then shut out by Chelsea who beat them 6-0. Lennon Harrington hit a hat trick, Brent Starkey added two and Alex Braunstein one. Chelsea made it two wins beating Northport Dynamo Blue 3-1, Ian Franklin opened the scoring before Lennon Harrington added two more. Dynamo Blue replied with a Gavin DeSimone goal but couldn’t add to it.
Two confident strikes from Lake Hayes helped EMK to defeat the Hbc Outlaws 3-1 in the division’s opening game. Lake was also on target twice, as was teammate Tyler Aubree, in their 4-2 victory over the Vikingos.Ben Koch scored a hat trick in Huntington United’s 4-0 triumph over the Outlaws and was then the hero scoring a late winner in the 1-0 win over Legends FC.Whitman FC took a two goal lead against the Vikingos through goals by CJ Conte and Seb Koch. Vikingos replied with two second half goals by Jack Fridman and with both teams looking for a late winner Jah’meer Sallet stepped up with less than ten seconds remaining to thump home the winner for Whitman.Arnold Aguilera gave Whitman a first half lead over Legends FC who tied it up mid way through the second half through David Lazaro. Legends FC fought hard and had chances but Whitman’s pressure finally paid off when Chris Schindler scored late on to give them a 2-1 victory.
Carmelo Carbone scored twice for Friday Bevs in the Friday night HS division but it wasn’t enough as Miso Hungry held on to win. Corey Phelan found the net twice and James Russo once in the 3-2 victory.Two Stephan Nikolai goals looked like winning the game for FUTC FC in their game against Miso Hungry but Joe DiSimone also scored twice, the second coming in the last 30 seconds to even it up for Miso at 2-2.Sam Barbuti and Connor Fleming were on target as Barn Boys began the season with a 2-1 win over Friday Bevs. They couldn’t make it two wins though as they went down 4-0 against FUTC FC, Stephan Nikolic hit a hat trick and Luke Bailey added a fourth late on.
