Girls U8
The Bulls wrapped up the GU8 division with an emphatic victory over HBC 3G. Gianna Bartlett scored six times in the first half before Kamryn August pulled two back for 3G. Nia Baker was also on target for HBC but further goals by Madison Apicella and a seventh for Gianna Bartlett made the final score 8-3 and gave Gianna the Golden Boot trophy. The Bulls remained unbeaten with 5 wins and one draw.
Massapequa also ended the season with a win after beating Dix Hills Peanutbutters 6-3. Mia Bordwin, Sascha Fraum and Sam Goldberg were on target for Dix Hills who led 3-2 midway through the second half. The Xtreme turned the game around in the closing stages thanks to Alexander Coloma who completed her hat trick to tie the game up then scored twice more to make it five on the day. Jolie Caramelli also hit the net for the Xtreme who finished in second place.
Conrgrats to the Bulls, to Gianna for her Golden Boot win with 15 goals and to Alexander who was a close second with 14.
Boys U7
Boys U8
Dix Hills Dynamite made it six wins out of six but were made to work hard for the victory by the determined and talented Syosset White team. Golden Boot winner Tyler Glassberg scored the only goal of a competitive first half but shortly after the break James Guiffre tied it up for Syosset. Spencer Bernak gave the Dynamite their second lead of the game and Tyler Glassberg wrapped up the points with his second of the game, 3-1 the final score.
Jeffrey Wilson scored twice in Dix Hills Thunder’s 4-1 win over the HBC Wildcats. Matthew Chumski and Ian Alper also hit the net with Luke Difruscia replying for the Wildcats.
Kings Park Arsenal ended the season on a high note against the Annoying Oranges. Ryan Webb, Mike Stiskin, MJ Smith, Micaeh Bailes and Isaac Frishberg all scored in the 5-0 victory.
HBC Arsenal claimed a second place finish after beating Syosset Red 7-2. A close first half saw the teams share four goals. Arsenal’s Geral Cortex scored twice in the second half to give them the advantage and they never looked back. Nico Corea also scored to finish second in the Golden Boot table with twelve goals for the season, four behind Tyler Glassberg. Arsenal were supposed to play the Dynamite week 6 but were unable to because of the many scheduling conflicts.
Congrats to the division winners, the Dix Hills Dynamite, and to Tyler for winning the Golden Boot trophy with sixteen goals!.
Boys U9
HBC Kings won the BU9 division with a decisive 6-1 triumph over the HBC Spurs. Both teams missed chances in an even first half that ended 1-1. The second half belonged to the Kings who added five goals to their tally to take first place, Jefferson Lopez, Benjamin Blumberg and Tyler Phillips all scored twice. Owen Husselbeck was the lone scorer for Spurs.
The HBC Attack and the HBC Elite played a close and entertaining game with the Attack coming out on top 4-3. Gabby Martinea and Gabby Modica hit the target for the Elite who also benefited from an
Attack own goal. Adam Tabibzada, Josh Chandre and Dean Raschizada scored for the Attack to make it 3-3 before Adam Tabibzada’s second won the points and took him to the top of the Golden Boot table!

Boys U10
Trevor Cueto scored a hat trick for Inter Soccer Academy in their 5-3 win over HBC Wasabi. The HBC boys looked to be on their way to a first victory when they led 3-2 through goals by Ben Grossman, Ryan Benchmiol and Danny Costello but Inter came back late on and further goals by Benton Cueto and Michael Reyes won them the three points.
Collen Sim had a hat trick in Hempstead’s 5-1 victory over Elwood. That win meant that the EOC Leopards won the division and left Elwood in third place. Seth Castro was also on target and top scorer Nilton Gonzalez scored his eighth goal of the season which won him the BU10 Golden Boot award.
TJ Carroll scored Elwood’s only goal in the first half.
Congrats to the Hempstead EOC Leopards for winning the league and to Nilton Gonzalez on his Golden Boot win.
Boys U11
Ruben Rodriguez scored a hat trick for Uniondale Hawks in their 5-0 victory against the CSH Arsenal. Steven Flores also scored but the important goal was by Andy Blanco, his sixth goal of the season won him the BU11 Golden Boot trophy. The result also meant that the HBC Wolverines had to beat Brentwood AC Milan to stay joint first. Two Augustus McGiff goals and one by Johnny Guerrera gave the Wolverines a solid 3-1 half time lead, Austin Nathanael on target for Milan. HBC stretched their lead further in the second half and two more Johnny Guerrera goals and one by Nick Mazza made sure the Wolverines stayed level on points at the top, 6-1 the final socre. With both the Hawks and Wolverines finishing on fifteen points it came down to their head to head record. This was identical with each team winning once by two goals so both teams received winner’s medals finishing joint top.

BU12
Brian Yanez and Enzo Vergara both scored twice in Inter Soccer Academy’s 6-1 victory over the Commack Allstars. The win meant that Inter finished in second place behind Uniondale Leones.
The Leones maintained their 100% record with a 3-0 win over Hempstead EOC Leopards to win the division. Thajee Zaid scored all three goals to take his tally to thirteen for the season making him the BU12 Golden Boot winner.
Congrats to the Leones, worthy winners of the league and to Thajee.
Boys U14
Hicksville Renegades finished the season in style with a 6-3 win over the South Huntington Hawks. Jose Morino and Jose Alvarenga scored twice for the Renegades with Brian Valencia replying twice for the Hawks.
Elwood Gladiators also ended the campaign well with a victory over the Uniondale Allstars. Elwood’s top scorer Paul Schiappa was on target twice as the Gladiators came from behind to win their first game of the season, 5-4 the final score.
Inter Soccer Academy B led 2-0 at half time against Uniondale Majico thanks to a Jose Marquez goal and a Majico own goal. The Majico recovered in the second half with Steven Velasquez getting on the score sheet. They were unable to add a second and Inter B held on to win 2-1 meaning they finished as runners up in the division behind Inter A.
Inter Soccer Academy A and Hauppauge still have a game to play but Inter A are already the league winners. The two Inter teams are tied on points but Inter A have the better head to head record having beaten Inter B the first week of the season. It also looks like Junior Reyes will be the Golden Boot winner, he currently has ten goals to his credit so barring a goal feast in the final game by a Hauppauge player he will take home the trophy. Congrats to Inter A on their first place finish.
Girls U11
The Girls U11 division still has a couple of games to be played but the South Huntington Falcons are guaranteed a first place finish with Inter Soccer Academy coming in second place. Magalee Rivera leads the Golden Boot table with eleven goals, congrats to Inter and to Magalee.
Girls U12
The girls U12 division also has a couple of games left after the weather stopped the games this week. New Hyde Park Firecats have a six point lead at the top and Logan Ward leads the Golden Boot table with eight goals.
