Weekly Review – Week 4

 BU10/11

Yovanni Rivera and Remi Asghar scored the goals as Valencia got week 4 underway with a 2-0 victory over the Crushers.

CSH Vipers then handed the Crushers their second 2-0 defeat when Dylan Hayden and Dante Salgado found the net. Dante followed that with a hat trick in the comfortable 6-0 win over the Destroyers, Peter Leavy also scored twice.

Harborfields Spurs had a good day and recorded back to back shut outs beating Valencia 2-0 then Liverpool 1-0. Caiden Veitch and Brett Sullivan were on target against Valencia and Caiden scored the only goal in the win over Liverpool.

Jason Kurland scored a hat trick and Josh Bakar twice as Man City beat the Destroyers 6-0. Jason scored his second hat trick of the day in an exciting game against Liverpool. David Delcid was on target twice for Liverpool but Man City held on for an entertaining 5-4 victory.

BU13

Harrison Krywack scored a hat trick for the Ambush as they beat Benfica 7-2 in the opening game of the BU13 division, Dylan Schnitzer also found the net twice.

Colin Phelan scored a hat trick for Benfica in their next game but they went down for a second time losing 8-6 to Spurs. Jose Bautista scored four times for Spurs and Matthew Malone twice in a free scoring encounter!

Luke Rinaldi, Matt Beasley and Charlie Giramonte all scored as the Ambush made it two out of two on the day with a 3-0 victory over Everton.

Nick Campanelli and Ben Koch each scored twice as leaders Huntington United saw off Spurs 6-0 but they couldn’t break down the Auburndale Green defense and four goals by Jon Turcios gave Auburndale the points in an impressive 4-0 triumph.

Eamon Jenson scored a hat trick and Joseph Martinez netted twice as Auburndale secured another two points in the 6-0 win over Everton.

BU9

The Outlaws kept up their 100% record with another two victories. Max Carino, Vincent Pupillo and Josh Stimpfl all scored twice in the 6-2 win over Lazio which was followed by an 8-2 win over Milan. Christian Luca, Michael Brandine and Josh Stimpfl each scored two goals in the comfortable win.

Byron Araujo and Lucas Flores scored the goals that gave Lazio the 2-1 win over the Southdown Flyers then Pavel Slivchenko scored twice as Milan overcame the Flyers 3-2. Jack Steinberg scored both goals for the Flyers in a close game.

GU10/11

Abigail Mallgraf scored the only goal as the Northport Extreme beat the CSH Jaguars 1-0 in the opening game in the girls U10/11 division. Abigail was on target again as the Extreme then handed the CSH Wrecking Balls their first defeat. Kayleigh Howard also scored in the exciting 2-1 victory.

The Cheetahs and the Jaguars played another tight game with both teams sharing the points in a 1-1 tie. Hailey Martin scored for the Cheetahs and Lila Porcio replied for the Jaguars.

Two goals by Shannon Tague gave Northport another win as they saw off the Cheetahs 3-0 before the Wrecking Balls recovered from 1-0 down to beat the Cheetahs 2-1. Sadie MacDevitt gave the Cheetahs a first half advantage but Stella Quilty scored twice after the break.

BU14/15

Ian Kaish, Anthony Restivo and Max Bratchie were on target as the Outlaws White beat the Outlaws Green 3-1. The Outlaws White bounced back to beat Auburndale 4-1, Dan Costello scored twice.

Raul Sanchez hit the net four times as the Uniondale Vikingos thumped the Outlaws Green 6-0, he then scored twice in another convincing 6-1 victory over Finley.

Owen Husselbeck was also on target four times as Finley beat Auburndale 4-1, a fine individual performance saw him score twice in each half.

BU17/18

Jack Langton scored a hat trick and Matteo Alzate twice as Chaos beat the Sting 9-4. Chaos then beat Northport Explosion 3-2 in an exciting match, Kevin Gulizo scored two excellent goals to secure the points for Chaos. H Footy and the Sting tied 3-3 in an end to end game before the Explosion got back to winning ways with a 5-1 victory over H Footy, Andrew Croft scored a hat trick.

WEEKLY REVIEW   Week 3
BU10/11
CSH Vipers came from behind to hand Liverpool their first loss of the season in the opening game of the day. Thomas Carluccio gave Liverpool a 1-0 lead but second half goals by Dylan Hayden and a header by Andrew Chelius secured a 2-1 win for the Vipers. The Vipers made it two wins in a row with a 2-0 victory over Harborfields Spurs, John Tsoumpas and Ray Cumella were the scorers in that game.
Liverpool recovered and a David Delcid hat trick helped them to a 6-0 win over Valencia. Valencia also bounced back and beat the Destroyers 3-1, Cristian Alvizures scored twice and Remi Asghar once in a close game.
Harborfields Spurs went behind early against Man City when Matthew Bender scored from close range but two second half goals by Caiden Veitch then gave Spurs a 2-1 win in another tight game.
The Destroyers were 3-1 up against the Crushers with two goals by Aiden Brancaccio and one by Owen Lakhani but two late goals tied it up for the Crushers. Chris Prainito scored his second of the game before a scramble in the box with only seconds remaining led to the ball somehow finding its way into the net to end it 3-3.
Man City then became the fourth team of the day to turn it around and win their second game after losing their first. Jonathan Morales and Grant Kurland each scored twice in the 4-2 victory over the Crushers.

BU13
Spurs suffered back to back defeats to start the BU13 division. Ryan Schiff scored a hat trick and Brent Starkey twice as Chelsea won 6-1. Everton then beat Spurs 6-1 with Ryan Keegan scoring five of the goals!
Chelsea and Auburndale Academy played a fast paced game that saw the teams level at half time 2-2. Peter Kellarakos gave Chelsea the lead but two strikes by Jon Turcios then gave Auburndale the advantage. Max Bloess evened it up for Chelsea and a second half goal by Peter Kellarakos proved to be the winner as Chelsea hung on to win an entertaining game 3-2.
Colin Phelan found his ‘shooting boots’ and scored four times as Benfica enjoyed a comfortable 6-1win over Everton.
The Ambush came from behind to beat Auburndale in another end to end encounter. Jon Turcios was again on the scoresheet giving Auburndale the lead but Liam Lennon leveled before half time. Liam then added a second after the break which ended up being the winning goal, 2-1 the final score.
Huntington United went top of the table with two hard fought 1-0 victories. Jack Noble scored the only goal in the second half against Benfica then Jack Fallon was the only scorer in a thrilling game against the Ambush. Both teams missed opportunities before Jack struck midway through the second half to cap a great day for United.

BU9
Pavel Slivechenko scored a hat trick for Milan as they beat Lazio 3-1 in the opening game of the BU9 division. Milan found it tougher in their next game against the Outlaws as two goals by Colin Lennon helped the Outlaws to a 5-1 win.
Josh Stimpfl scored four times for the Outlaws in their second game as they saw of the Southdown Flyers 6-0. The Flyers fared better against Lazio but eventually went lost 4-1. Byron Araujo scored twice for Lazio, Danny Kurz and Lucas Flored added one each with Jack Steinberg finding the net for the Flyers.

GU10/11
The weather played havoc with the rest of the day’s schedule but three of the girls teams managed to play and it was a good day for the CSH Wrecking Balls who won twice. Jenna Kessler scored a hat trick in the 5-0 win over the CSH Jaguars then added two more in the 3-1 victory over Northport Extreme.
The Extreme also beat the Jaguars thanks to a Kaleigh Howard hat trick. Madison Howard also found the net twice and Sarah Power once in the 6-2 victory

BU10/11

Valencia recorded their third straight win with a 5-2 victory over Man City, Zach Kauffman scored four of the goals. They then lost for the first time going down 2-1 to CSH Vipers. Ray Cumella and Will Brancato were the scorers for the Vipers who then made it two wins out of two on the day by beating Man City 5-2.

Liverpool also won twice to stay top of the table. Lennon Harrington scored four times and Thomas Carluccio twice as they beat the Crushers 7-1 which was followed by a 3-1 victory over Harborfields Spurs. Royal Baker, Massi Fargnoli and Thomas Carluccio were on target for Liverpool in the first half and Caiden Veitch replied late on for the Spurs.

The Crushers and Spurs played the final game in the division and it was the Crushers who came out on top in a tight match. Chris Prainito’s goal in the first half was the only one of the game, 1-0 the final score.

BU13

Chelsea and the Ambush played the first game of the day in the BU13 division and a close game saw Chelsea edge it 2-0 thanks to goals by Peter Kellarakos and Lennon Harrington. The Ambush hit back with a 7-1 victory over Spurs, Liam Lennon and Luke Rinaldi each scored twice. Chelsea won their second game against Everton thanks to a strong first half performance which saw them lead 5-0 at the half. Peter Kellarakos, Dylan Gugin and Max Bloess all scored twice for Chelsea who eventually won 7-2.

Benfica won for the first time this season seeing off Spurs. Colin Phelen netted twice in the 5-0 triumph but they found the going tougher against Auburndale and were on the wrong end of a 6-0 result. Eanna Freehall and Eamann Jenson scored two goals apiece.

Huntington United made it three wins on the spin with a 3-0 victory over Everton before going down to Auburndale 4-1. That result leaves Auburndale the only unbeaten team and sees them at the top of the table.

BU9

Southdown Flyers started strongly against Lazio and two Jack Steinberg goals gave them an early 2-0 lead. Byron Araujo pulled one back for Lazio before half time but Quinn Rinaldi restored the Flyers two goal lead in the second half. Byron scored his and Lazio’s second goal to make it 3-2 but the Flyers held on for the win. Two second half goals by A.J. Bentsen then gave Milan a 2-0 victory over the Flyers before the Outlaws won the final two games to remain at the top. Frankie Algieri and Colin Lennon both scored twice in a comfortable 5-0 win over Lazio and a 3-1 victory over Milan followed.

GU10/11

The girl’s division again produced some close entertaining games and the CSH Jaguars became the first team in years (at Coindre Hall) to tie their first four games of the season! A 0-0 tie with Northport Extreme was followed by a 1-1 draw with the Cheetahs. Jada Joseph gave the Jaguars a first half lead but Krista Lin restored parity in the second half with the equalizing goal for the Cheetahs.

The CSH Wrecking Balls lived up to their name and ended the sequence of draws by winning both of their week 2 games. Stella Quilty scored a hat trick in the 4-1 win over Northport then Emmy Evans scored both goals in the 2-1 victory over the Cheetahs to send the Wrecking Balls to the top of the table.

BU14/15

Auburndale and the Outlaws Green played an exciting opening game in the BU14/15 division. Dillon Guludec was on target for Auburndale but Ian Kaisch leveled for the Outlaws. It looked to heading for a tie until Antonio Giamo struck for Auburndale with the last kick of the game to give them the 2-1 victory. Two goals by Alex Martinez and one by Jayden Erickson saw Finley beat the Outlaws Green 3-0 before Finley beat the Outlaws White 6-1. Owen Husselbeck, Alex Martinez and Arnold Alfaro all scored twice for Finley.

Auburndale couldn’t stop Adrian Astudillo who scored four times in the Vikingos 6-0 victory and Adrian was at it again finding the net twice in the 3-2 win over the Outlaws White. Jason Hernandez also scored for the Vikingos who led 3-0 at half time but second half goals by Taiyu Jin and Kyle Gallagher for the Outlaws made it a nervy finish for the Vikingos who held on for the win.

BU17/18

Chaos and One Pound Fish played a highly entertaining opening match. Kevin Gulizo gave Chaos the lead but Ethan Krauss equalized for ‘Fish’ before half time. Carmine De’Ieso put Chaos ahead and despite their best efforts One Pound Fish couldn’t find another equalizer as Chaos triumphed 2-1. Erin Ayden was on target twice and Luke Luckow once as the Sting then beat One Pound Fish 3-0.

Another end to end game saw Chaos eventually come out on top 2-0 over H Footy. An excellent move produced the opening goal for Carmine De’Ieso who headed in from close range. Nat Amato added the second to make it a good day for Chaos.

Northport Explosion moved clear at the top of the table with back to back victories. Luke Luckow netted twice for the Sting but Jack Wetzel was the difference for the Explosion scoring four times in the 5-2 win. Jack added two more to his tally in the exciting 3-1 win over H Footy to find himself top of the Golden Boot table. Northport coach Mervin Molano was very happy with his team’s performance (you can view his post match Interview with Mervin Molano )

BU10/11

The 20^th season of the Coindre Hall indoor league got underway with Valencia winning the opening BU10/11 game 6-1 against the Crushers. Cooper Brandt scored the first goal of the season to give the Crushers the lead but Remi Asghar, Chase Brandt and Zach Kaufman each scored twice to give Valencia the victory. The Crushers were soon back in action but again lost as Lennon Harrington scored a hat trick in Liverpool’s 7-1 win.

Valencia made it two wins out of two with a close 1-0 victory over Harborfields Spurs, Chase Brandt scored the only goal of the game.

Man City took a two goal lead over Liverpool thanks to goals by Grant Kurland and Josh Bakar but Liverpool hit back and another hat trick by Lennon Harrington and a goal by Diego Abrego gave Liverpool their second win of the day, 4-2,

Harborfields beat the Destroyers 4-0 to secure their first victory, Brett Sullivan scored twice. Man City beat the CSH Vipers 2-1 with goals by Grant Kurland and Josh Bakar before the Vipers recovered and won 6-0 against the Destroyers. Dylan Hayden scored a hat trick and Peter Leavy twice in the comfortable victory.

BU13

Huntington United made a good start to the season with two wins in week one. Jack Fallon, Jack Noble and Ben Koch were on target as they beat Chelsea 3-2 in an exciting game. Both ‘Jacks’ were on the scoresheet again as United beat Spurs 3-0. Two Lennon Harrington goals helped Chelsea beat Benfica 5-0 and a Ryan Keegan hat trick saw Everton overcome Spurs 4-0.

Goals by Luke Rinaldi and Dylan Schnitzer gave the Ambush victory 2-1 over Benfica before the Ambush and Auburndale played the game of the day sharing eight goals in a 4-4 tie. Two Liam Lennon goals gave the Ambush the lead but John Turcios replied with two goals for Auburndale to make it 2-2 at the half. Dylan Schnitzer scored for the Ambush but two more goals by John Turcios looked to have given Auburndale the points until Liam Lennon completed his hat trick with only seconds remaining.

Auburndale then beat Everton 6-0 with Joseph Martinez scoring four times.

BU9

A close opening game between the Southdown Flyers and Milan was settled by a Jack Steinberg goal in the first half. Both teams had chances but Jack’s goal proved to be the only one of the game.

Colin Lennon scored twice as the Outlaws beat the Flyers 7-1. Colin added two more in the 5-0 win over Lazio, Matt Ferranti also score twice.

Milan and Lazio played an entertaining match that ended 2-2. Pavel Slivchenko and Braid Martin were on target for Milan but two Jonny Kurz goals evened it up for Lazio.

GU10/11

The Girls U10/11 division proved to be very competitive with three of the games ending in ties and one being settled with the last kick of the game.

Goals by Riley Murtagh, Reese Rinaldi and Victoria Waters gave the CSH Wrecking Balls a 3-2 half time lead over Northport Extreme. Madison Howard and Ella Cancro found the net for the Extreme and a second half strike by Kaleigh Howard tied it up, 3-3 the final score in an entertaining encounter.

The Wrecking Balls and CSH Jaguars then tied another exciting game 0-0 before the Extreme and the Cheetahs went within seconds of another 0-0 tie. With both teams looking for a late winner Madison Howard’s shot found the corner of the net with only five seconds left on the clock to give the Extreme the 1-0 victory.

The Cheetahs and the Jaguars then tied 1-1 with both goals coming in the opening half. Julia Wang scored for the Jaguars and Krista Lin for the Cheetahs.

BU14/15

Finley and Auburndale got the BU14/15 division started with Finley coming out on top in an exciting match. Arnold Alfaro and Alex Martinez both scored twice in a 6-2 victory.

Finley and the Uniondale Vikingos then played an end to end game that saw the Vikingos take a 1-0 lead into the break thanks to an Alan Calderon goal. Both keepers came up with big saves in the second half and the Vikingos held on for the 1-0 triumph.

Dillon Guludec then scored a hat trick for Auburndale in their 3-0 victory over Outlaws White.

Raul Sanchez hit the net twice in the Vikingos 4-1 win over Outlaws Green before the Outlaws Green beat Outlaws White 6-2 in the final game of the day. Kyle Gallagher scored a hat trick and Chris Roberts twice for Green.

BU17/18

Two Carlos Godoy goals helped H Footy to a 3-0 win in their game against One Pound Fish, Ronan Carrol was also on target.

H Footy were then on the end of a 6-2 defeat at the hands of the Sting. Eren Aydin scored twice in a convincing Sting victory.

James Cameron scored for One Pound Fish but it wasn’t enough as they went down 2-1 to Northport Explosion, Austin Borina and Will Regensburger scored the all important goals for the Explosion.

Chaos and Sting played a highly entertaining game that saw the lead change three times. Jason Garay and Jake Doanhue scored first half goals for Chaos who led 2-1 at the half. The second half saw John Baccardo and Luke Luckow add to Eren Aydin’s first half goal to give Sting a 3-2 lead but Chaos scored the last two goals of the game to win 4-3, Kevin Gulizo and Matteo Alzate on target.

BU7/8

PLAY OFFS

Ajax v Roma

Ajax and Roma got the play offs started in the Bu7/8 division and a close first half provided lots of action but ended scoreless. Despite plenty of pressure after the break Ajax couldn’t break down a resolute Roma defense and with five minutes to play Robbie Campbell struck to give Roma a 1-0 lead. With less than two minutes on the clock Roma extended their lead courtesy of an Ajax own goal and they held on comfortably to move into the final.

Hbc Germany v Rangers

In the second semi final Matthew Benevides scored twice to give Hbc Germany a two goal lead over Rangers. Grant Kurland pulled a goal back for Rangers but Byron Araujo retstored the two goal advantage for Germany before half time. Rangers had chances in the second half to get back into the game but Germany stood firm and went through to the final winning 3-1.

3rd place game

Rangers v Ajax

The third place play off game was another competitive match with Ajax and Rangers playing an even and scoreless first half. Grant Kurland and Matthew Bender scored second half goals for Rangers and they claimed 3rd place with the 2-0 victory.

FINAL

Roma v Hbc Germany

Jhordan Moreira gave Roma an early lead in the final against Hbc Germany but an own goal soon drew Germany level and it stayed that way until half time. Matthew Benevides gave Germany their first lead of the game in the second half then extended it to 3-1 with a second shortly after. Robbie Campbell scored with seconds remaining to make it 3-2 but It wasn’t enough for Rangers as Germany took first place.

Lazio won both of their week 8 games beating the Destroyers 4-3 then the Southdown Flyers 5-1.
Aidan Bezack scored twice against the Destroyers and Aidan Reh twice against the Flyers.
Chris Prainito and Cooper Brandt each scored twice for the Crushers in their 4-1 victory over the Destroyers then Chris scored a hat trick and Cooper twice as the Crushers beat the Flyers 6-0.
Chris Prainito won the Golden Boot with 23 goals for the season, 5 ahead of Matthew Benevides who scored 18.

Congratulations to Hbc Germany, to Chris on his Golden Boot victory and to all the teams for making it another exciting and enjoyable season.

BU9/10

PLAY OFFS

Valencia v Poland

Valencia got off to a good start in the first semi final when Lennon Harrington headed in a cross to give them an early lead. Dylan Gugin added two goals, Raj Gujral one and Lennon Harrington another two as Valencia won comfortably to move into the final with a 6-0 win.

Elwood v Wolves

Elwood took a first half lead over Wolves when David McCalla fired a shot into the corner but Sean Manoff leveled for Wolves shortly after to make it 1-1 at the half. A close second half followed with Elwood eventually moving into the final thanks to two goals by Josh Bohlen. 3-1 the final score.

3rd Place play off

Wolves v Poland

Wolves recovered from the disappointment of their semi final defeat to beat Poland 6-0 in the 3rd place game, Sean Manoff and Chris Walker each scored twice.

FINAL

Valencia v Elwood

Elwood started strongly but couldn’t get on the scoresheet and it was Valencia who took the lead late in the first half when Rajveer Gujral found the net.
The second half was equally as competitive but two quick goals by Lennon Harrington and one by Dylan Gugin put the game out of Elwood’s reach and Valencia took first place winning 4-0.

BU11/12

Play offs

Chelsea v Spurs

Chelsea and Spurs got the Bu11/12 play offs underway and after a close start Chelsea took control and a two goal lead before half time. Chelsea keeper Ryan Schiff kept them in the lead with a couple of important saves in the second half before Chelsea added four more goals to move into the final winning 6-0.
Aleks Proniewski and Lennon Harrington scored twice for Chelsea with Bryan Lizama and Liam Harrington adding one each.

Hbc Ambush v Arsenal

This was a close semi final from start to finish. Both teams had chances but were unable to break the deadlock until Dylan Schnitzer finally beat the impressive Sawyer Diamond in the Arsenal goal to gave the Ambush a 1-0 lead mid way through the second half. Arsenal’s Jonathan Shank soon evened the score with a close range finish and the game headed into extra time. Neither team could find the winning goal in a fast paced extra time so they went to penalty kicks. An exciting game between two evenly matched teams was eventually settled with Jonathan Shank, Jason Kaiser and Ryan DeWitt all scoring PK’s for Arsenal who moved into the final with a 3-2 shootout victory.

FINAL

Chelsea v Arsenal

Arsenal started well in the final but couldn’t match the intensity they showed in their their semi final game.
Chelsea were two goals up at half time and dominated the second half adding four more goals to win convincingly 6-0.
Aleks Proniewski and Bryan Lizama found the net twice for Chelsea and Lennon Harrington and David McCalla scored one each as Chelsea claimed the first place trophies.

In the consolation games Benfica tied Spurs 1-1 and Hbc Ambush 2-2.
Jack Steel gave Benfica the lead against Spurs but David Lazaro scored a late equalizer for Spurs. Jaiveer Gujral and Colin Phelan were then on target for Benfica against the Ambush but Dylan Schnitzer and Luke Rinaldi scored for the Ambush to even the game at 2-2.

Congratulations to Chelsea on their final victory, to Lennon Harrington who won the Golden Boot with 30 goals and to all the teams for another exciting season!

BU13/14

PLAY OFFS

Chaos v Green Machine

The BU13/14 division has been competitive throughout and was again for the final week of the season. Chaos and Green Machine were level 0-0 at half time in the first semi final and it wasn’t until late in the contest that Chaos were able to pull away with goals by Jason Garay and Carmine De’Ieso giving them a 2-0 victory and a place in the final.

Uniondale Vikingos v Finley

These two teams tied 0-0 in league play two weeks back and a similar pattern followed in their play off semi final. Both teams showed plenty of skill and determination but were again unable to break the deadlock and headed into extra time. The Vikingos finished stronger with Douglas Barrera dribbling through the Finley defense twice only to be stopped on both occasions by Finley keeper Dylan Cotter. Finley held firm in the final moments and the match went to penalty kicks.
Alex Martinez and Chris Morandi converted PK’s for Finley before keeper Dylan Cotter saved the Vikingos’ second PK after the first had come back off the crossbar to send Finley into the final.

3rd place game

Green Machine v Uniondale Vikingos

It looked like the Vikingos had recovered from their semi final disappointment as they went into a 2-0 lead over Green Machine, Jason Hernandez and Andrew Orego finding the net. Green Machine persevered until the end and were rewarded when Sebastian Koch pulled a goal back with a minute and a half remaining then Danny Costello tied it up with a neat finish in the final seconds and the game ended even 2-2.

FINAL

Chaos v Finley

After their pulsating semi final victory Finley were hoping to carry the momentum into the final against Chaos and did so in an entertaining first half which ended scoreless. The second half was a different story as Chaos scored two goals in quick succession which appeared to take the wind out of Finley’s sails and three late goals followed as Chaos celebrated a 5-0 victory. Jake Donahue scored twice with Brian Contreras, Jason Garay and Carmine De’Ieso all adding one each in a confident second half display.

In the consolation games SH Sharpshooters beat the Outlaws White 4-0 thanks to a Chris O’Connor hat trick. The Sharpshooters also beat the Outlaws Green 2-1 and the Outlaws Green beat the Outlaws White 5-2. Dylan Behr scored twice for White and Michael Pinzone twice for Green.

Congratulations to Chaos for their victory and to Finley’s Arnold Alfaro who’s seventeen goals won him the Golden Boot.
Thanks to all the BU13/14 teams for such a competitive and entertaining season.

GU13/14

Northport Spirit were consistent all season losing only one of sixteen games and deservedly finished top of the GU13/14 division. Week 8 saw them win another two games. Liz Starin scored a hat trick in the 5-2 win over the Tiger Lily’s and Mia Friere was on target twice in the 3-0 victory over the Blue Devils, Julianna Bertoloni added the third.
The Shooting Stars beat the Tiger Lily’s 2-0 with goals by Zoe Xidas and Caitlin Collins before the Blue Devils and Shooting Stars tied the final game 1-1.
Liz Starin was the Golden Boot winner with an impressive total of 31 goals for the Spirit team.
Congratulations to Liz, to the Spirit and to all the girls who made it another fun season.

BU16

PLAY OFFS

Sting White v H Footy

As expected all of the BU16 games were close affairs and the play offs were as competitive as they were exciting.
Tyler Abedin gave Sting White a first half lead who then defended aggressively for the remainder of the game and held on to their one goal lead throughout an end to end second half to move into the final.

United v Sting Green

Another equally competitive game saw both teams give 100% In their semi final which always looked like being a one goal game. Both teams missed half chances to win it and the game went into extra time. With less than two minutes to play before penalty kicks Gabe Quesquen scored the all important winning goal for United with a firm strike that sent United through to the final.

FINAL

United v Sting White

After tight semi final victories both teams managed to maintain their momentum and played with plenty of energy and passion in another end to end encounter. Johnny Tucker gave Sting White a first half lead but Gabe Quesquen hammered in an equalizer for United. John Paul Paci’s long range drive gave the Sting White a 2-1 lead and Rudy Salveron wrapped it up late on with a third as the Sting White won another impressive game, and the first place medals, with a 3-1 triumph.

Sting Green won the third place game over United 5-2 to end the day.

Congratulations to The Sting White on their play off victory, to Golden Boot winner Alex Marino and to all teams and players for such a competitive and sportsmanlike season!

BU7/8

Week 7 saw a lot of close and low scoring games in the BU7/8 division. Rangers and Hbc Germany tied the first game of the day 1-1. Gary Alvarez gave Rangers the lead in the second half but Matthew Benevides equalized for Germany.
Ajax then beat Germany 1-0 thanks to a goal by Angelo Lucignano before Roma beat Rangers 1-0 to help their chances of making the play offs, Jhordan Moreira scored the only goal early in the second half.
Carter Veitch scored in the first half for Ajax against the Crushers and that proved to be enough as Ajax held on for the 1-0 victory.
Roma made it four games in succession to finish 1-0 as Jhordan Moreira scored his second match winning goal of the day against the Southdaown Flyers to confirm Roma’s place in next week’s playoffs.
The Crushers beat Lazio but just failed to make the top four, Callan Steel and Sam Aronowsky both scored twice in the 6-1 win.
The Destroyers played the final two games in the division winning one and losing one. After losing 2-0 to the Southdown Flyers they beat Lazio 4-1. Aidan Smith, Owen Lakhani, Jesse Giovacco and Noah Iaboni all scored for the Destroyers, Colby Curran scored for Lazio.
Hbc Germany and Roma both finished with 18 points and an identical head to head record (2 ties)
Hbc Germany place third, above Roma, because of a superior goal differential over the season. That means next week’s play offs are: Ajax v Roma and Rangers v Hbc Germany

BU9/10

Dylan Gugin and Lennon Harrington both scored twice for Valencia as they beat Atletico 5-0, Rajveer Gujral was also on target.
Alex LaSpina gave Atletico a second half lead against Wolves but Anthony Labombada tied it up with 15 seconds remaining to make the final score 1-1.
Colin Lennon then scored six times, a double hat trick, as Elwood inflicted a first defeat on Valencia. Lennon Harrington scored twice for Valencia but they were beaten convincingly 8-2.
Arnov Kohli scored twice for Wolves in their 6-1 victory over Poland and David McCalla’s two goals helped Elwood to their second win of the day, a 4-0 victory over Poland.

BU11/12

The Hbc Ambush had two comfortable wins in the BU11/12 division. Liam Lennon scored a hat trick in the 4-0 win over Spurs then added two more against Benfica. Jake Burton, Charlie Giramonti and Luke Rinaldi were also on target in the 5-0 victory.
Chelsea also won twice. Lennon Harrington scored twice in the 6-0 win over Spurs, Aleks Proniewski, Bryan Lizama and David McCalla also scored and an unfortunate own goal completed the scoring. Lennon Harrington then scored two early goals against Arsenal but Ryan DeWitt and Nick Campanelli tied it up for Arsenal before half time. Lennon added two more after the break to restore Chelsea’s advantage and two late goals by Dylan Gugin made the final score 6-2.
Arsenal recovered to beat a depleted Benfica team 6-1 in the final game. Nick Induisi, Jonathan Shank, Yovanni Rivera, Nick Campanelli , Ryan DeWitt and Jason Kaiser all scored for Arsenal.
Next week’s play offs will be:
Chelsea v Spurs and Hbc Ambush v Arsenal. The winners will play in the final and the two losing semi finalists will play Benfica.

BU13/14

The Vikingos made sure of a second place finish with two wins in week 7. Douglas Barrera scored a hat trick in the 5-1 victory over the Green Machine then added two more against the Outlaws White. Adrian Astudillo was also on target twice in the 7-3 win, Kyle Gallagher scored twice for the Outlaws.
Chris O’Connor scored twice and Jeffrey Sorto once for the SH Sharpshooters but it wasn’t enough as the Green Machine held on for a 4-3 victory in an end to end encounter. Trevor Hubbard was on target twice for green Machine, Louis Batista and Nico Rzehak each scored one.
Chaos made sure of first place with a 4-1 win over SH Sharpshooters, Carmine De’Ieso scored twice. Jason Garay found the net twice for Chaos in their next game against Finley but a very competitive game ended 3-3 after Owen Husselbeck equalized for Finley with three minutes remaining.
Ethan Fransiscovich scored twice for the Outlaws Green as they defeated the Outlaws White 5-1 then Finley moved above Green Machine and into 3rd place with a 4-2 victory over Outlaws Green, Arnold Alfaro scored a hat trick for Finley who will now play the Vikingos in the play offs next week. The other play off game will be between Chaos and Green Machine.

GU13/14

Liz Starin scored four times as Northport Spirit beat the Blue Devils in the opening game in the girls division. Julianna Bertoloni was also on target in the 5-2 victory. Emily Cheshire and Beanna Cummela scored for the Devils.
The Devils then beat the Tiger Lily’s in an exciting game that ended 2-1. Claire Lindsey scored for the Lily’s but goals by Beanna Cumella and Christianna Maceluch got the points for the Devils.
Beanna was then on target twice for the Shooting Stars as they tied the Spirit 2-2. Liz Starin and Julianna Bertoloni scored the Spirit’s goals.

BU16

H Footy finished in first place after winning both of their week 7 games. Adam Debus scored the winning goal in the 3-2 victory over the Sting White and was again on target in the 3-0 win over the Sting Green, Jordan Robinson and James Cameron also netted for H Footy.
Eren Aydin scored twice for the Sting White against United but Alex Marino hit four goals for United to give them a 5-3 victory.
United and Sting Green played a competitive game to end the day drawing 3-3. Alex Marino was on target again twice for United and Will Friedman added one but goals by John Baccardo, Pat Duran and Matteo Alzate meant the points were shared.
Next week’s play offs will be : H Footy v Sting White and United v Sting Green.

BU7/8

Ajax opened up a four point lead at the top of the table after a 5-0 victory over second placed Rangers. Angelo Lucignano and Ryan Perillo each scored twice in a convincing win. Ajax also beat Lazio 3-1 thanks to goals by James Vohs, Carter Veitch and Angelo Lucignano.
Two Jhordan Moreira goals gave Roma a 2-1 victory over Lazio in and end to end encounter and Rangers recovered to beat the Southdown Flyers 8-2. Grant Kurland, Joe Rocca and Matt Bender all scored twice for Rangers who stay in second place on eighteen points.
Jhordan Moreira went one better in the next Roma game scoring a hat trick in the 3-1 victory over the Destroyers.
Germany stay third after two wins moved them onto seventeen points. Frankie Algieri, Byron Araujo and Matthew Benevides were on target in the 3-2 win over the Flyers before Matthew netted twice and Austin Krywak once in the 3-1 win against the Crushers. The Crushers picked up the points against the Destroyers winning a close game 2-1. Golden Boot leader Chris Prainito and Cooper Brandt scored the goals.

BU9/10

Valencia secured another two victories to remain in first place beating Wolves 4-0 then Poland 5-0. Dylan Gugin and Lennon Harrington each scored twice against Wolves and Raj Gujral top scored against Poland with two.
A David McCalla hat trick and two goals by Thomas Giramonti, one an excellent header, set Elwood on their way to a 6-2 victory over Wolves. An exciting 3-3 tie with Atletico followed for Elwood. Goals by David McCalla, Chase Brandt and Thomas Giramonti had briefly given Elwood the lead but two Zach Kaufman goals and one by Nick Kump evened things up. Atletico then had a comfortable win over Poland. Logan Horowitz scored a hat trick in the 7-1 victory.

BU11/12

The top two teams squared off in the opening game in the BU11/12 division. Chelsea took an early lead over the Hbc Ambush through Lennon Harrington’s goal but the Ambush were soon level when James Vohs’ shot found the back of the net. Max Bloess then gave Chelsea their second lead of the game before a powerful strike by Aleks Proniewski in the second half secured the points for Chelsea, 3-1 the final score. Two Bryan Lizama goals helped Chelsea to a second win, this time 4-1 over Benfica.
Another closely fought match up saw Arsenal come out on top over the Ambush 2-1. Jonathan Shank gave Arsenal the lead but Liam Lennon leveled for the Ambush before half time. Both team had chances to win it before Nick Campanelli scored what proved to be the winner for Arsenal.
Spurs won one and lost one. David Lizama and Jose Rivera scored the goals as they held on to record a 2-1 victory over Benfica. The same two players were on target again against Arsenal but Ryan DeWitt’s hat trick helped Arsenal to a 5-2 triumph, Jonathan Shank and Nick Inuisi added the other goals.

BU13/14

The BU13/14 division has been consistently competitive and week 6 didn’t disappoint. Finley overcame the Green Machine 3-1 in the opening game with goals by Owen Husselbeck, Alex Martinez and Arnold Alfaro. The Green Machine soon turned it around and beat the Outlaws Green 3-0, Trevor Hubbard, Nico Rzehak and Sebastian Koch with the goals.
Uniondale Vikingos and Finley then played what could be the game of the season so far. Both teams demonstrated their skill and commitment but ultimately couldn’t find a goal in an entertaining 0-0 draw.
Jeffrey Sorto scored twice as SH Sharpshooters beat the Outlaws Green 5-2 but they couldn’t maintain the momentum and lost 2-0 to the Outlaws White. David Meneses and Dylan Behr the scorers for the Outlaws.
Another end to end game saw the Vikingos take the points in a 3-0 victory over the league leaders, Chaos. Alex Cardenas scored twice and Adrian Astudillas once. Chaos responded with a 3-0 win over the Outlaws White. Brian Contreras, Carmine DeIeso and Jason Guray finding the net.

GU13/14

Liz Starin hit five goals for the Northport Spirit in their 6-3 victory over the Tiger Lily’s to move further ahead at the top of the Golden Boot table. Mia Friere was also on target for the Spirit with Ava Mailla scoring twice and Adelaide Kline once for the Lily’s. Ava then scored the only goal of the game as the Tiger Lily’s defeated the Blue Devils 1-0 in a very competitive game.
Lucy Biblow scored twice and Kay Rosselli once as the Shooting Stars triumphed over the Northport Spirit 3-2 before the Stars and the Blue Devils tied 1-1.

BU16

Jason Castellanos and Josh Yanuck were on target for CSH Falcons in their game against United but Alex Marino brought United level on two occasions, the second coming late in the game to earn a point in the 2-2 tie.
Alex was also on target twice for United in their second game as they raced into a 2-0 first half lead over H Footy. Jordan Robinson pulled one back in the second half but United held on for the 2-1 victory.
Eren Aydin and Luke Luckow each scored twice as the Sting beat the Falcons 6-1 before H Footy won a close game against the Sting 2-1, Jordan Roninson and Chris Callan scoring the goals for H Footy.

BU7/8

Roma and the Crushers got week 5 underway in the Bu7/8 division and it was Roma who came out on top winning 3-1 thanks to Ryan Kaiser’s go ahead goal.
The Crushers came out strong against the Southdown Flyers and two goals each by Cooper Brandt and Chris Prainito helped then to a 6-0 victory.
Roma and Germany couldn’t break the deadlock and shared the points in a 0-0 tie.
Carter Veitch scored a hat trick and James Vohs twice as Ajax recorded a 7-1 win over the Southdown Flyers. Ajax then made it two out of two beating the Destroyers 6-1, Carter Veitch was on target again, this time with two goals.
Matt Bender and Grant Kurland were the scorers in Rangers 2-0 win over Lazio.
Matt then scored a hat trick against the Destroyers in Rangers’ 7-1 victory, Royale Baker also found the net twice to keep Rangers in second place and two points behind Ajax in the standings.

BU9/10

Valencia continued their winning streak with a 6-0 win over Poland. Lennon Harrington scored five of the goals with Dylan Gugin adding one. Valencia found themselves behind in their second game as two goals by Chris Walker and one by Anthony Labombada gave Wolves a 3-2 lead. Valencia saved their unbeaten record though with a late equalizer as Lennon Harrington completed his hat trick.
Zach Kaufman, Logan Horowitz and Devon Brandt were on target as Atletico beat Poland 3-0. Zach also scored twice for Atletico against Elwood but a hat trick by James Bratchie and two goals by David McCalla secured the points for Elwood who won 5-2.
A Colin Lennon hat trick helped Elwood to another victory as they beat Wolves 5-3 in an exciting game. The win moved Elwood into second place in the standings.

BU11/12

Chelsea beat Spurs 4-0 in the BU11/12 division’s opening game thanks to two goals by Lennon Harrington and one each by Dylan Gugin and Liam Harrington. Chelsea then lost their unbeaten record as Arsenal held on to claim a deserved 3-2 victory. Bryan Lizama opened the scoring for Chelsea but goals by Jason Kaiser and Ryan Peskin gave Arsenal a 2-1 half time lead. Liam Harrington’s long range shot looked like securing a point for Chelsea but Jonathan Shank’s close range effort in the last minute won it for Arsenal.
The Ambush had a comfortable victory over Spurs, Liam Lennon scored a hat trick and Luke Rinaldi twice in the 7-1 win.
Benfica defeated Arsenal 3-2 in another action packed game before going down 2-1 to the Ambush in the final game in the division. Benfica took the lead through a Nick Campanelli goal but Liam Lennon turned the game around with two second half goals for the Ambush.

BU13/14

Chaos remain top of the BU13/14 division despite losing their unbeaten record in week 5. Jake Donahue and Carmine De’Ieso both scored twice in their 6-2 victory over the Green Machine before the Outlaws Green became the first team to beat them this season. Chaos were 2-0 down mid way through the second half after goals by Anthony Restivo and Michael Kleinman gave the the Outlaws the advantage. Chaos drew level with two goals in a minute but a second goal by Michael Kleinman and a thumping drive by Kyle Gallagher restored the Outlaws two goal lead which they held on to.
The Outlaws White found the going a lot tougher as they went down 8-2 to the Green Machine. Man of the match Andrew Mascia scored five times for Green Machine.
After a scoreless first half Finley beat the Outlaws White 3-1 thanks to goals by Owen Husselbeck, Arnold Alfaro and Osiris Shepperd.
Adrian Astudillo scored a hat trick, Raul Sanchez twice and Warren Sanger once as the Uniondale Vikingos eased past the Outlaws Green 6-0.
Finley and the South Huntington Sharpshooters shared eight goals and the points in an end to end encounter that ended 4-4 before the Sharpshooters and Vikingos tied the final game 2-2. Chris O’Connor scored for the Sharpshooters and Douglas Barrera for the Vikingos who each benefited from an own goal.

GU13/14

Northport Spirit tightened their grip on first place with two more victories in week 5. Liz Starin and Mia Freire each scored twice in the 4-2 victory over the Tiger Lily’s then Mia scored the all important goal in the 1-0 win over the Blue Devils.
Beanna Cumella scored twice for the Shooting Stars and Jessie Grover added another but it wasn’t enough to beat the Tiger Lily’s who came out on top 4-3 in another exciting match. Ava Maiella, Claire Lindsey, Adelaide Kline and Angeline Miraglia were on target for the Lily’s.
Beanna Cumella and Emily Cheshire scored for the Stars in their 2-2 tie with the Blue Devils, Zoe Xidas replied with two goals for the Devils.

BU16

The Sting White overcame their rivals the Sting Green 3-1 in the opening Bu16 game. Eren Aydin for White and Johnny Tucker for green scored the goals in an even first half but another Eren Aydin goal and one by Alex Magnozzi after the break guaranteed the points for the Whites.
Another competitive game followed as the Whites and H Footy reached half time tied 1-1. Alex Magnozzi was on target again for the Whites with Carlos Godoy scoring for H Footy. An equally tight second half was eventually settled by an unstoppable strike by Carlos Godoy to give H Footy the 2-1 victory.
The Sting Green took a 2-0 first half lead over the CSH Falcons, John Baccardo and Luke Luckow with the goals. The Falcon’s Gannon Odierno’s reduced the arrears with a long range strike but the Greens hung on for the 2-1 victory.
Marco Ammirato scored for United against H Footy but Carlos Godoy added another two goals to his total to give H Footy their second 2-1 win of the evening.
The United finished the day with a 6-0 win over the Falcons. Gabe Quesquen, Alex Marino and Dante Posinelli each scoring twice.

BU7/8

Ajax remain top of the division after two wins this week. Caiden Veitch scored twice and Angelo Lucignano once in their 3-0 win over Lazio. Angelo was on target again with the only goal of the first half against Roma. James Vohs added a second after break to make the final score 2-0.
Alex Gizzi scored a hat trick as Lazio beat Southdown Flyers 6-1 to record their first win of the season. Roma also bounced back with a victory beating the Destroyers 2-1 thanks to goals by Chris Caiazzo and Jhordan Moreira. Brett Sullivan scored for the Destroyers.
Grant Kurland scored twice for Rangers who looked like holding on for victory over the Crushers but Chris Prainito equalized with ten seconds left to complete his hat trick and make the final score 4-4.
Germany had a good week with back to back victories. Matthew Benavides scored four times and Byron Araujo twice as they beat the Destroyers 6-2. That was followed by a 3-0 win over the Crushers, Matthew was on target again scoring twice and Byron once.

BU9/10

Elwood started the day strongly beating Poland 6-1 thanks to hat tricks by David McCalla and Thomas Giramonti. Their second game proved tougher and they went down 6-0 against Valencia. Lennon Harrington scored a hat trick for Valencia who remain unbeaten. Zach Kaufman and Nick Kump scored for Atletico against Valencia and were level 2-2 with only minutes remaining but two late goals gave Valencia a 4-2 victory. Rajveer Gujral, Dylan Gugin and Lennon Harrington twice were the scorers for Valencia.
Arnav Kohli was on target for Wolves as they beat Poland 3-1 in an end to end game. Their second game against Atletico was another close game. Wolves led 1-0 at the half but an own goal then strikes by Alex LaSpina and Nick Verdi turned it around for Atletico who won 3-1.

BU11/12

Spurs got back to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Benfica. Shane Longin gave them a first half lead then Nick Perciballi and David Lazaro added goals after the break. Chelsea also beat Benfica, David McCalla and Lennon Harrington scored twice for Chelsea before Liam Harrington added a fifth. Benfica finished strongly and replied with late goals by Jack Steel and Jaiveer Gujral, 5-2 the final score.
Yovanni Rivera scored the only goal of a close first half between Arsenal and Spurs to give Arsenal the advantage but David Lazaro finished off a nice move by Spurs to tie it up in the second half and it ended 1-1.
Colin Lennon gave Hbc Ambush the lead against Chelsea before Bryan Lizama equalized in the first half. The second half was intense with both teams going close before Bryan Lizama scored his second goal of the game to give Chelsea a 2-1 victory.
The Ambush raced into a 3-0 first half lead in their next game against Arsenal with Matthew Lange, Dylan Schnitzer and Liam Lennon finding the net. Ryan DeWitt pulled two goals back for Arsenal but Dylan Schnitzer added a fourth for the Ambush to give them a 4-2 victory.

BU13/14

Chris Roberts was on target twice for the Green Machine as they beat the Outlaws Green by a score of 5-1. Outlaws Green then faced South Huntington Sharpshooters and a tight first half ended 0-0. The Sharpshooter took a second half lead through Jeffrey Sorto’s goal but the Outlaws replied almost immediately with a goal by Andreas Seferian and it ended even, 1-1.
Matt Nietto gave the Green Machine the lead over the Uniondale Vikingos in an exciting encounter. Niko Vidal replied for the Vikingos before Matt Nietto restored the Green Machines’s lead. The Vikingos pressed hard for the equalizer but some excellent defending and goal line clearances in the final seconds saw the Green Machine hold on for a 2-1 triumph.
Jonathan Solar scored the only goal of the game in another close match as the Sharpshooters held on to beat the Outlaws White 1-0.
The Vikingos recovered to beat Finley 3-0 thanks to goals by Allan Calderon, Aidrian Astudillo and Niko Vidal.
Chaos recorded back to back wins with victories over The Outlaws White and Finley. Carmine De’Ieso was on target twice in the 6-1 win over the Outlaws and again in the 3-1 win over Finley, Jake Donahue and Doug Kelapire also scored for Chaos after Arnold Alfaro had given Finley the lead.

GU13/14

The Shooting Stars took the lead against the Spirit thanks to a neat finish by Beanna Cumella. The Spirit’s Lucy Goldner tied it up shortly after and despite chances for both teams in second half it stayed 1-1.
The Shooting Stars and the Blue Devils finished the day with a scoreless tie.

BU16

The Sting Green took advantage of a slow start by United and took a three goal lead with two goals by Johnny Tucker and one by John Baccardo. Alex Marino pulled a goal back for United in the second half but Sting Green held on comfortably for the 3-1 win.
Sting Green and H Footy played a competitive game, Jordan McCoy was on target for the Sting and Steffens Mazut for H Footy. Carlos Godoy gave H Footy a 2-1 lead and that proved to be the winning goal.
Alex Marino and Gabe Quesquen each scored twice as United bounced back from their earlier defeat to beat the Sting White 6-2. H Footy won their second game 5-1 against CSH Falcons, Ronan Carroll scored two of the goals.
Eren Aydin and Rudy Salmeron both scored twice in the final game of the day as the Sting White beat the Falcons 5-1.

BU7/8

Southdown Flyers got their first wins of the season with back to back victories.
A 2-0 win over the Destroyers was followed by a 3-2 win over Hbc Germany.
Chris Prainito was on target twice in each of the Crushers’ games as they beat the Destroyers 5-1 then Lazio 4-1, Boden Rudloff also scored in both games. The Crushers are now in second place with nine points.
Ajax beat Hbc Germany 2-1 and remain in first place despite losing to Rangers 2-0 in their second game. Gary Alvarez and Grant Kurland scored the goals for Rangers who then beat Roma 2-1. Jhordan Moriera gave Roma a first half lead but Grant Kurland and Evan Haber found the net for Rangers who went two for two on the day.
In Roma’s other game two second half goals by Alex Moriera saw them take the points in a 2-0 victory over Lazio.

BU9/10

Elwood took maximum points as they win both of their games. Two goals by Colin Lennon and an own goal gave them a 3-1 victory over Wolves who had briefly tied the game up thanks to a Sean Manoff goal. Their second game was even closer as a late goal by Colin Lennon saw them beat Atletico 1-0.
Valencia stays top after two wins over Wolves and Poland. Lennon Harrington scored a hat trick in their 6-1 victory over Wolves, Alex Moreira also scored twice and Dylan Gugin once. They followed that with a 6-0 win over Poland. Lennon Harrington scored his second hat trick of the day and goals by Dylan Gugin, Alex Moreira and Austin Schermer completed the scoring.
Atletico bounced back with a victory over Poland, Alex LaSpina scored a hat trick and Nick Kump twice in the 5-1 win.

BU11/12

Arsenal enjoyed a comfortable victory over Benfica in the opening game of the Bu11/12 division. Jonathan Shank was on target four times as they won 6-0. There second game proved a lot more difficult as they were beaten 6-0 by Chelsea. Bryan Lizama and Lennon Harrington both scored twice for Chelsea with David McCalla and Dylan Gugin finding the net once.
Chelsea hit six for a second time as they beat Spurs 6-1 in their next game. Bryan Lizama hit a hat trick, Lennon Harrington scored twice and Liam Harrington once.
Hbc Ambush also enjoyed two victories with wins over Benfica and Spurs. Jake Burton scored four times in the 6-0 win over Benfica with Liam Lennon adding two more. Luke Rinaldi was then on target twice for the Ambush as they beat Spurs 4-0 to go second in the table.

BU13/14

The Uniondale Vikingos were 5-1 victors over the Outlaws White in the opening game in the BU13/14 division, Adrian Astudillo scored twice for the Vikingos.
Ian Kaish then scored four times as the Outlaws Green made it a rough day for the Outlaws White by beating them 5-1.
The game of the day was between the Vikingos and Chaos with both teams starting the day unbeaten so far this season. Vikingos struck first through Douglas Barrera who gave them a 1-0 half time lead. Carmine De’Ieso then tied it up for Chaos before Douglas gave the Vikingos the lead for a second time. Carmine replied for Chaos to make it 2-2 and an exciting end to end finale saw Emmy Forbes score with only ten seconds remaining to make the final score 3-2 in favor of Chaos.
Arnold Alfaro scored a hat and Alex Martinez twice as Finley beat the Outlaws Green by a score of 6-1. Jake Donahue then scored three as Finley beat SH Sharpshooters 5-2 and Arnold Alfaro was on target again scoring twice for Finley as they went two for two beating Green Machine 4-2.
The SH Sharpshooters then benefited from two own goals by the Green Machine but goals by Sebastian Koch, Chris Roberts and Brendan Viscount made the final score 3-3.

GU13/14

Northport Spirit won twice in the Gu13/14 division. Liz Starin was on target twice in the 5-1 win over the Hbc Blue Devils and went one better in the next game scoring a hat trick in the 5-0 victory over the Shooting Stars. Julianna Bertoloni also scored twice against the Stars.
Hbc Blue Devils beat the Tiger Lily’s 3-0, Christiana Maceluch and Abby Semelsberger were amongst the scorers. The Tiger Lily’s then tied with the Shooting Stars 2-2. Claire Lindsey and Adelaide Kline were on target for the Lily’s but two goals by Jessie Grover meant the points were shared.

BU16

The BU16 division is proving to be very competitive and there were more close games during week 3. Gabe Quesquen scored a hat trick for United as they beat CSH Falcons 3-1 in hard fought game. United followed that up with another victory this time beating H Footy 4-2.
John Baccardo was then on target twice for the Sting Green as they beat CSH Falcons 4-0.
H Footy recovered well and held on to beat Sting White 2-1 thanks to two goals by Carlos Godoy.
The final game of the night was between the Sting White and the Sting Green and a Johnny Tucker hat trick helped the Greens to a 6-3 victory.
